I have a couple of questions for ya..now I am a truck driver and I use the cb all the time..but what I want to know is, you are 340 Con. ... how do you come up with your number? Did you just pick one or is there a certain way of getting it. I am looking into setting up a radio at home for myself as well...just trying to get some info. Thanks..and great video btw...I live in Ontario Canada!!

Yes, non licensed operators make up a call sign. There are lots of clubs just look on-line. TWRC for one : )

The Galaxy DX 99V I have one of these radios and did all the power and frequency modifications myself. Epic radio getting harder to find.

Dump the A99 dummy-load and try an IMAX2000.

A bunch of us did out here on the West coast and saw a full 2 s-units gain on both receive and transmit over our A99s.

It's really a night & day difference.

WOW you where able to run a skip from Atlanta to Conn. on LSB im impressed. I DON'T THINK SO. When you can run a skip shoot to australia off a bearfoot radio,on a francis fiberglass whip off the back of your car i'll be impressed. I talk to england and so. america of a mobile set up all the time only running 30 watts PEP.
