Yuji Ono (along with the rest of the Lupin III team regulars) is starting to age. I'm just not sure the franchise will ever be the same without him composing such epic pieces of music.
I just don't think you can say "oh someone will replace him." That just seems... Blasphemous to say!
Little bit of trivia, I read once that Yuji Ono is Yoko Ono's brother. Not sure if this is true, but it's an interesting connection if so. I can definitely see some of the resemblence between them!
Thank you man for uploading this. This is literally my Favorite movie of all time. And this song never gets old. I love it to pieces. And 4 versions of it is even better. My favorite is the opening version, but the first one on this vid and the one with the xylophone are the best ones besides.
I have got this film and it really good and all three instrumental parts are in the film and the person singing is at the start and then at the end in the background
I love this song. It makes the experience of watching Castle of Cagliostro so magical. It reminds me when I was a child and my brother and I used to watch it.
I love the third version of the song in here, because my favorite instrument is the xylophone ( I know I didn't spell that right). I just freaking love the xylohpone. And the clarinet, that is what's playing the other half of the time right?
Cagliostro is my second favorite Miyazaki movie, too bad it can't be bundled with the other Ghibli works. Castle in the Sky is my most favorite of his, and it's not that I'm biast for castles, but Howl's Moving Castle, happens to be my third favorite. =P
