The police are in a no-win situation all the way around. Damned if you do, damned if you don't. The suspect was still actively resisting when the officer punched him. I would hate for the MPD to discipline this offficer. Let it go! These are regular fools with a badge and think they have the right to use what ever force-How many cops does it take to deliver an ass whipping -for one arrest-and how much danger does the public have to encounter while they are doing it-they can round up misdermeanor charges-yet they can't find felons-someone needs to stop and think about public safety during these chases-when to call them off.
Again this man beat the hell out of his wife's face. His wife called the police. The man then kidnapped his wife. After the police gave chase, he led police on a dangerous high-speed chase. This fugitive ended up driving through 2 wooden fences, and rammed 3 police cars. How do we know this fugitive was not still resisting arrest?
I am not sure about the excessive force charge here. It is not illegal to pee on yourself. Why didnt the lady simply pee on herself? The manager of the Dollar Genreal called the police on the deaf mentally slow suspect. The police had to do something. Man running from cops was shot? Maybe fleeing a police officer is not a good thing to do.
I happen to personally know the police officer who struck the lady's minivan that killed her. First off, the lady's car stalled in the middle lane on interstate. Since the lady never attempted to get over to the emergency lane she continued slowing down. Everyone kept swerving out of the way of the minivan at the last second. The police officer was the last person behind the minivan. Since the female driver was stopped on the interstate there was nothing the officer could have done.

MPD in last few months-
Used excessive force against man, killing him in a barrage of bullets.
Arrested 81 year old woman for urinating in bushes because she couldn't make it to a public restroom.
Stormed in on deaf, mentally disabled man using the restroom with an upset stomach. Pepper sprayed and tazed him.
Officer shot man 3 times who was fleeing on foot.
Officer speeding and swerving in traffic hits an innocent woman in another lane, killing her.
Time to clean house at the MPD!
