this is sooo random! I feel like the writers put her in here so that we're reminded that peter and olivia and walter are not 100% loyal and/or connected to each other at this point in the season. It's just a way to reinforced their relationship later on. hopefully...lol
Seriously, who is this mysterious Tess, past romantic interest of Peter's? I think the writers kinda just dropped this story line to make room for other plot developments. that's the sad nature of major broadcast network programming, the execs make decision on how long a season series goes, IF it survives cancellation.

@Katbee1 Lolwat? When has there ever been any indication at all from show that Walter or Olivia might betray Peter? Walter made some mistakes in the past, but he crossed universes twice to save his life & also the Observer told Walter that once he brought Peter over (he had to bc the bottle with the cure for Peter's illness broke and spilled when Walter was first crossing over so he had to take him back to the other side to re-make the solution for the cure), Peter should never go back.

The only reason I'm worried about Peter possibly betraying them is bc of the constant references to Peter's odd connections in the show, and in the Pilot when Peter immediately went with Olivia when she bluffed that she had a "file" on him. I'm not saying Peter is the bad guy here, just that there might be something in his past that could shatter his relationship with Olivia and/or Walter.
Yes Tess is an ex and probably that Michael guy was her boyfriend now and was beating her. I don't think that Peter will betray Olivia and Walter, i mean at the end of season 2 he could have done that and he didn't ;) I think that he has done a lot of criminal things in the past but he's trying to become a better man..we see that in the second season. I also think that his past is linked in some ways with Massive Dynamics but he didn't know that ;)
I don't find it to be that random. He was in Iraq and seems to be a guy who's all over the place.
