I've been a KISS fan since 74 and I still have magazine where GENE said "We are a band we are KISS and if any member of KISS left it wouldn't be KISS anymore... the 4 of use ARE KISS" I guess he forgot that part. What Paul is saying is once he and Gene retire they will keep some form of KISS on the road so Paul and Gene still get a check.

There's an interview from 2004 that Eddie Trunk did with Peter posted here where Trunk said he could picture a point where Gene and Paul hire replacements for themselves on stage and continue to run the brand as a business and Peter pretty much painfully agreed with him. I Guess now we know that it'll be a reality.

It has nothing to do with musical skill, I agree Eric Singer is an awesome drummer and in my personal opinion the best drummer KISS has had, but the catman makeup belongs to Peter. It's wrong to have a fake catman, it ruins the magic of KISS. Even more so in the case of Tommy wearing Ace's makeup. Don't you guys realize how pathetic it would be if Ace & Peter went out on tour with a FAKE Gene & Paul?...It would be RETARDED....Give Eric & Tommy their own faces and I'll accept it. Till then, NO.

The best drummer KISS ever had was Eric Carr. His drumming forced KISS to return to hard rock after their late 70s disco misadventure. RIP Eric.

What a fucking joke! I use to be a huge Kiss fan. I don't even know what to say? I'll tell you this, they're a great Kiss cover band. Just complete disrespect to the other two members that got them to where they are at. How are going to record a new album with Thayer and Singer with the make-up on? Are you fucking kidding me? There's an interview from 2004 that Eddie Trunk did with Peter posted here where Trunk said he could picture a point where Gene and Paul hire replacements for themselves on stage and continue to run the brand as a business and Peter pretty much painfully agreed with him. I Guess now we know that it'll be a reality.

When will Gene and Paul realise that this is NOT KISS? The Beatles are not The Beatles without George Harrison and Ringo Starr. This isn't KISS without Ace and Peter. Will they come together as an orignial line up again? Absolutely. Gene will see the money in another reunion tour...

Paul & Gene are absolutely right saying that "KISS will still be KISS in 30 years". Cause KISS is a complete commercial product for now. There's no soul left in it (Ace 'n Peter were the pure soul of the group). There's only a need to squeeze a maximum profit. KISS is a huge mashine, Gene & Paul are guiding it emphatically and professionally.
P.S. I liked the moment on 0:52 - a complete understanding between Paul & Gene without saying a world!

I think what Paul is trying to say and how he wants it to be is that KISS will live on, even when they die or really quit, KISS will still play but with new members. And in the future someone can look on photos or whatever with their children or grandchildren and say "Look, there´s the first generation of KISS, the first setup! And KISS still plays today and they celebraiting KISS Alive 50" or something xD It sound like he wants it so x)

U were Legends, when it was the original 4, now u are just a cover band. An old timer that doesn't know when 2 retire, the Arizona Cardinal Emmitt Smith Era, the Michael Jordan Washington Wizard era, etc...like those 2 great athletes, KISS has tarnished their legacy by sticking around after retiring or Farewell Tours.
