@SuperSonicPsykic I've just ordered mine, and I'm 6 foot 6. Test Rode it two days ago, and its comfortable, and my legs fit nicely in the grooves. Its a cracking bike.

hello anyone know what is the lowest setting for the rider with the gel seat? can it reach below 800mm?

@Apoman13 The lower setting is 810mm, the higher is 830mm...But you can easily touch the ground, as you can see in the video when the reviewer starts up the engine...Cheers!

@rathbonephilip Agreed. They have the gain level set far too high causing distortion and clipping.

For the layman... it makes the sound very shrieking and shrill. Turning the gain down about 2-3db would help a lot.

wow!!! if thats meant to be the road version then its soooooo ugly. Naturally as an xc version you'd expect it to look like it does but as a road version I think its seriously lacking. I thought we would get a baby tiger 1050 with a smaller engine but oh no, instead we get a gs clone with a 19inch front wheel. doh!!

@elementlead1 i wouldnt even give it the courtesy of calling it a gs clone. the ride hieight to me seems just as the tiger 1050. hopefully the suspension is better allowing it to be more adventure oriented unlike the 1050. wth are you gonna do with a 19 inch front tire at 80mph going down the freeway.... talk about stability problems...

Nice look. Should have a great engine but put a set of nobbies on it and watch the I mud stick like glue under that front fender. Yeah they probably have a higher riser version of the fender but it will be optional of course! Still good to see another option for the dirt.

You'd have to be very rich or very stupid to take something this expensive off roading. I would imagine the more on road version will make more sense. I test drove the 800GS and while it sounds amazing! it just doesnt handle well at all. I'm dying to give this a go if Triumph will let us test ride their bikes.

I wish it was more distinctive looking. It can't be coincidental that it looks just like the F800GS. It wouldn't take that much. Does the Multistrada, 990, Tenre or Stelvio look like the F800GS? No. Sorry Triumph, you could've done better to make it a TRIUMPH..

I like it though. When I get a new bike next year, I'll seriously consider this bike. I rode the F800GS and it just wasn't there for me...

The bike was designed 'in house' by its own stylists...in fact the team that designed the Daytona 675.The bike started development in 2007,before the BMW f800 was launched or anyone knew what it looked like.Triumph quite clearly state that they are going after some of the F800 market,however.I think this bike will sell very well,to all sorts of bikers.

Never ridden an 800 Triumph, so don't really know how it handles, but I'm looking forward to doing so. What do you ride?

@Alexandruioancuza Most triumphs are known for their good handling,straight from the crate..so to speak,so I imagine that this will be no exception! My bikes are an old BSA lightning (1973) and a 2002 Triumph Daytona 955i,which is a superb bike and sounds beautiful.Safe riding!!
