  • Wish I played the violin.. Well.. I got to keep to the piano version, then..

  • Ugh... I can't hold back my tears. How millions of men, women, and children would be slain, no, how my people could be killed, for simply being who they were... What did we do?

  • @TheBroDude777 It's happening right now, everyday. Quit the fake whinning/crying. Nobody care.

  • This is music. Not a monotone computer beat about getting drunk in the club.

  • so beautiful

  • Happy 80th Birthday to the greatest living composer. John Williams : )

  • here's how powerful this music is, I'm trying to hold back tears listening to it. This is not something common for me.

  • Sometimes I'm going for a walk on Cracow's Plaszow/Podgorze where was the concentration camp.

I always listen to this song then...

  • It feels almost surreal, to know that one human being could wish a death like that upon so many others..

  • Every violinist should learn this song.

  • @Sammytammy101 I am. Enough Said.

  • 4 people are nazis

  • awesome!!!!!

  • 60 years after the same shit is happening again.Killing innocent palestinians. So from now on this song is for dead babies and their families. Its really hard to understand.Rien de parler.

  • 3 people have no souls

  • I wouldnt shiver more if i was in the arctic than i am right now, listening to this

  • @az868ings Same here!!! I lovve his playing. I got to meet him once backstage in Pittsburgh, Pa. You should have seen me shivering. lol I have a video of me playing this. just type in Walker Konkle, Theme from Schindler's List. Just if you want to check it out and comment. thanks.

  • beautiful

  • This isn't just a theme song, it is a story without words.

  • @eckspretion

You said it so right, just the way I feel about it

  • I thaught I had forgotten this theme, I was wrong. In the first 10 seconds, the whole music and the whole movie came back to my mind. Overwhelming and sublime !

  • What a beautiful yet haunting score

  • @deadmanwalking: Thank you for your eloquent response.

  • Its sad, only in the darkest hours of Humanity do we rise to be seen as human in fear, not of being inhuman, but for fear of others inhumanity towards us.

  • Very moving soundtrack. It was a very sad chapter in human history and I don't know what I find more tragic...the people who refuse to admit that the death camps actually happened, or the people who are oblivious to the fact that they actually happened. Either way, if we forget our past, we are facing a doomed future. "The easiest way for evil to prevail is for good men to do nothing..."

  • Great piece, but the movie is such a piece of garbage!

  • @TheUltimateCondom Yea, Gothe was arrested by the SS for stealing property of the Jews, beating and killing them as well. Yet you wont find it in this movie nor will you read about it in the Holocaust books either!

  • @EdwardTheGray how does that make the movie a piece of garbage though. im pretty sure they portrayed Goth as enough of a scumbag really. its a great film, in my opinion anyways.

  • @TheUltimateCondom Because of the anti German agenda that it depicts. First of all, Gothe could not have shot people from his balcony because of the fact that his villa was way back away from the camp and there was a hill in front of his villa. The movie plays on the emotions. I suggest that you look up "the last days of the big lie" to understand where I am coming from. It shows how spielberg is unaware of people who lied in his documentary.

  • @EdwardTheGray i understand where you're coming from. i'll take your word for it, the film probobly is a load of bullshit, like alot of true movies, ... i guess you could call it 'true fiction' really, i still find it to be a great bit of cinema, maybe not so great a history teacher... but remember, the film isnt without good portrayal of germans and members of the nazi party, the title character for example was a great german.

  • @TheUltimateCondom I understand where you are coming from, but the point is that people are shown this and his documentary and they are not aware that the people in the films are lying. For example, Spielberg deliberately left out the fact that Gothe was arrested for beating, killing, and stealing property. Also, you should def go watch "the last days of the big lie" by eric hunt, that video shows a lot of stuff that spielberg refuses to show us.

  • @EdwardTheGray yeah i will, i never heard of it.. i'll look for it

  • @TheUltimateCondom Def watch it, it changed a lot of my views.

  • I love the ending to this movie, it goes great with this song

  • the essence of music.

  • I still cry with this theme

  • The music makes me think of the part in the movie where Mr. Schindler was crying because he couldn't save more people, it was a very sad part of the movie for me, who wouldn't cry watching this movie?

  • @straightpink1 i didn't but i did come close to it, it is though, cry worthy

  • I loved playin this for my last senior concert :)

  • i like the part with the music playin

  • While beautiful, this music always makes me feel so worthless. As in what have I done to deserve life next to any number of people who have done great things. Yay depression

  • @goaldhost you're not the only one.

  • 2 people don't have ears ...

  • @Brianshen996 : or are Nazis...

  • Epic in nature.

  • this is the only instrument that can cry... john williams got this soo right we he wrote this.

  • I think most have cried in this movie

  • @theluckyluuk If you didn't cry during this movie, go buy a DSM-IV. You may be a sociopath.

  • @Saxking2005 is it bad if you chuckled whaile watching the movie?

  • so moving in my mind!

  • Very moving indeed!!!!!

  • 0 dislikes. That's how John Williams rolls!

  • no matter how many time i hear this, or how long it's been between revisiting it... this piece has always, and will always bring tears to my eyes. It's a bittersweet feeling listening to such beautiful music, and knowing that they joy it brings is overshadowed by the memories of the tragedy it commemorates. Let us never forget, but also allow such beauty as this too move us past grief and past hatred.

  • @ganonff wow, that comment was deep.

But I like this music too.

Have you ever seen the film, I want ot know what happens but I can't watch sad movies, but I'd love to know the story

  • @99FeeBee99 its bout da nazzi party but like da main character saves 1,100 jews and in da end da war ends so da guy needs to leave and da jews write a note wer it says Schindler took caer of them

  • @GEL96ifly WooooOOOOooo!!!

  • @99FeeBee99 do not be ashamed if you cry in this movie. I've done the same. so emotional

  • :'( so beautiful....

  • The violin seems like it is showing the pain of all those affected by the Holocaust. So amazing.

  • wow.

  • Incredible that this received no dislikes. There's usually one cock who will click it. But on this, nope. Says something about it.

  • @drcdeath Everyone knows its too damn amazing to dislike. <3 Itzhak Perlman is simply amazing!

  • i loved this with the kate moss hologram, it rly looked magical, such a strong track

  • An amazing highschooler played this today, and he is possibly jewish!

  • @annihalator24 This song is really easy to play.

  • @annihalator24 Possibly?

  • @LUXAETERNA6603

i didnt know if he was at the time, but he is, his younger sis plays the french horn and his younger bro plays the sax, just like mee!

  • One violin with a cry of 6 million people...

  • @MrKingofthesouthAK Russian residents was lost in 3 times more, but it do not remember. Jews force all to feel guilty for "Holocaust"

  • @Asyamanya The Russians lost more people but they were not tortured the way the Jews were. Many of them were tortured all the way through the holocaust and all their family and friends were killed which I think would be much worse than dying. Also, they don't try to make anyone feel guilty. It's just a horrible circumstance that we don't want to have happen again because history tends to repeat itself so we are taught about it to make sure everyone understands how terrible it was.

  • dit gaat tot op het bot,,mooie muziek

  • no offense to people who play other instruments, this is just my opinion, but i think that the violin is the most beautiful musical instrument. nothing else can touch me the way a violin can. piano cant have a sweet tremor, the clarinet's range, though it is very wide, doesnt sound dramatic. the saxaphone (though i love the saxaphone) can never be as haunting. <3<3<3

  • @iluvuthewayur1 Violin and piano are the instruments that touch me the most

  • this music has such depth to it.

  • If you like this music, maybe you will like the soundtrack to the movie Defiance too. Try look up 'Defiance soundtrack the wedding' and see what you think.

  • Brings tears to my eyes, makes me shiver, amazing.

  • Oh.my.god... I want so badly to learn violin now.

  • @FaeryRibbon Just stick with it, and listen to this whenever you need inspiration!!! I play Viola, and let me tell you something. To sit on a stage and make this story come to life, there is no greater feeling.

  • @bqday42 SQUEEEEEE! I did it! I started violin lessons at my school. It's so much fun. =D I'm really glad. By the way, thank you for your words of advice. I would hug you, but I'm not about to stalk you to find you. Instead, I'll offer you this metaphorical cupcake. *gives cupcake* =D

  • beautiful..

  • I love it. My violin teacher played me it yesterday and I fell in love with it.

  • this is like the epitome of music in Schindler's List
