I would like to hear the 911 operator’s reasons behind his actions. I do not understand why he would act that way but not be willing to defend himself. I am glad that the captain took the responsibility for his officer’s actions. I do not think that a two week suspension without pay with additional training is enough of a punishment. I am very happy to see the girl and her father are suing him. I would be very interested in seeing the outcome of the lawsuit.
He was not the only person making bad decisions throughout this process. She should not have cussed but she did and that should not be the reason that her father did not receive the help that he deserved. I was very confused about why she went down to the station when her father was having a seizure on the floor. I would think that the more intelligent thing to do would to have the older brother call 911 back and then after the ambulance arrived and her father was safe deal with the issue.

This is unacceptable. I understand that the 911 operator was upset or angered that the girl used foul language but I do not believe that that gives him the right to treat her the way he did. She was obviously irritated with the fact that her first phone call was not answered. Should she have said the f word? No, but she was aggravated and had no idea that he was going to pick up the phone just in time to hear it.

I would like to hear the 911 operator’s reasons behind his actions. I do not understand why he would act that way but not be willing to defend himself. I am glad that the captain took the responsibility for his officer’s actions. I do not think that a two week suspension without pay with additional training is enough of a punishment. I am very happy to see the girl and her father are suing him. I would be very interested in seeing the outcome of the lawsuit.

She should not have cussed but she did and that should not be the reason that her father did not receive the help that he deserved. I was very confused about why she went down to the station when her father was having a seizure on the floor. I would think that the more intelligent thing to do would to have the older brother call 911 back and then after the ambulance arrived and her father was safe deal with the issue.

She was obviously irritated with the fact that her first phone call was not answered. Should she have said the f word?
