in Isaiah(42:1) 1 Behold my servant, whom I uphold; mine elect, in whom my soul delighteth; I have put my spirit upon him: he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.
So there is no more obvious statement than this one. As God has clarified this truth that he is a slave of God and God has placed his spirit on him to support him like the other prophets.

A few rotten apples at the top of the barrel ruins the perspective of the good below. Yes, priests and nuns are human. They do and will sin, and some of them sin most grievously. Yet you cannot dismiss the wisdom of God and the gifts of His Most Holy Spirit because of this. Its tragic, but what they need is our Prayer!

I was molested in 1963-67 by Four Dirty, Filthy, Cruel, Wicked, Freaky, Creepy Eucharist Sex Starved Catholic Nuns at Saint Josephs School/Church (585)343 6154 from 1963-67 at 2 Summit Street in Batavia, New York 14020 for being Left Handed.

@molestedcatholic And that is horrible, I will keep you in my prayers. This, of course, doesn't mean you should judge all nuns or Catholis because of this horrible incident. There are bad people in all places, some people are so vile that they work their way into the Holy Church.

Is this the Congregation of St. John that was founded by Father Marie Dominique Philippe in the 1970s? My husband and I are considering becoming oblates with them. What an amazing community!
