I love raystown. My family stays in the villas and bunghalos. I'm going camping next week!!!!! I love to catch crayfish then eat them at night. And I love the restraunt with the carp and proud Mary!

we go there every 4th of july and tube with our boat and jet ski and go fishing for a week at the bungaloes there and every night we would go catfishing at 6 and come back at 8 take a shower and go on our jetskis to the restraunt down where the gas station for boats are... most fun place i have ever been to in my life.......

We hired a local boat Captain. I suggest you do as well. If you have a boat, try late spring-early summer.

good luck to everyone that is a Striped Bass fisherman. i myself havent hooked into one any bigger than about 27 inches, but ive been in the same boat as people that hook into 45+ inch stripers. just two weeks ago my dad's friend caught a 49 inch muskellunge. HUGE fish.
