My mother was absolutely in love with Ray Price. She had a huge console LP player she would play his albums on, while us kids would tease her. Until one time when we were caught playing Ray Price at top volume and singing along! We didn't hear her car pull up, lol. Couldn't get away with teasing her about Ray Price anymore after that. This was one of Ma's favourite songs.

That is great music and a fabulous band. Great steel player. Ray Prices voice gets better with age. They played live here as well.

i went to a Ray Price concert in halifax, nova scotia, my mother was a big fan of Rays, which in turned made me a Price fan,, i loved every bit of the concert,, my mother isnt here with us anymore, but im sure she was right beside me all along and enjoying every minute of it also

YEARS ago whn Buck Owens was REALLY doin Well with Raplh Moony, Don Rich and all ~One nite there were all together b4 a show and Buck made the Comment to them With out ME YOU GUYS are NOTHING ~Don and the rest of the Guys got together~Talekd aboked it n felt that BUCk needed a lesson~He was Goin Throgh Some of his Greatest hits when all of a Suden everyone was Playi f in a Differrent Key and the Drummer was Palying WaltzTiem toa 4/4 Country Shuffle ~he turned n siad ~i GET IT~Loved it

Theres NO One better than Ray Price~Theres some GREAT ones but hes GOTTA be rigth at the top~I Will Say though I do love the Great Steel Palying God i MISS Seeing Buddy Emmons there ~He was SOOOO Awesoem ~I also love it the way Ray Always introduces hns Band ~Name and where there From ~So Many Artists dont realize it but its the BAND that makes the Artist sounds as good as he/she does~Will Tel you a story about another Great in next post~LOVE RAY ~Steve
