There is nothing wrong with starting your dating profile with the fact that you're a single mother. It is clearly a very significant factor and burying it somewhere further down the profile will piss men off. Secondly there are 3 commonplace categories of single mothers which are drastically different, affecting children and parents and everybody else for that matter. These are 1)Divorced, 2)Widowed and 3)Single mother who has had a child out of a marriage or equivalent relationship. Mention it!
For the most part, women who become single moms actually indicate that they're quite short-sighted, selfish, stupid, slutty, are mentally ill-equipped for parenthood, and just plain irresponsible.
These women also tend to chase the badboy while ignoring the nice guy, then when they're used up and worn out by the badboy, they want Mr. nice guy to come along and save her.

This was a guy who told my parents to their face that he was going to marry me. The ONE TIME I didn't use protection and I got pregnant. I even took the Plan B but it didn't work. So yes, I made a careless choice. Choices come with both good and bad consequences. I didn't want to get married, but I at least wanted to figure out a way to raise the baby together as a couple.
@ApollosInsight He didn't tell his parents for 1 month. I continuously tried to make plans and he would ignore me while I was talking. I have self-respect, so I left him. I considered adoption, but once I met her, I couldn't let go of her. There are times when it's so hard that I want to break down. I miss being a normal college student. But that's my negative consequences. There are times when I get to see her grow and laugh and I feel so much joy that I wouldn't trade anything to be with her.

I am a newly single mom. If youre a man interested in a single mother, but are hesitant, please know that most women arent looking for a father for their child. if she is recieving support from the father, then you need not worry about about that. most single moms looking for a relationship are just wanting companionship, like any other woman without kid(s). I think a lot of women, married or not, sometimes focus too much on their children and forget to pay attention to adult relationships. Obviously I'm not saying they should in any way neglect their chidren, but having a healthy adult relationship with a man and making time for yourself is a good model to set for your children and is not something women should feel guilty about doing. Too many women make their children the center of their life to their and the kids detriment.
Being a single Mother is not the problem. Children are not the problem--even if they're bad (since bad children are often the product of bad parenting). If youre a man interested in a single mother, but are hesitant, please know that most women arent looking for a father for their child. if she is recieving support from the father, then you need not worry about about that. most single moms looking for a relationship are just wanting companionship, like any other woman without kid(s). This is the first video I disagree with you on because fact is that kid is always going to come first no matter what she's going to put on that profile. I think a lot of women, married or not, sometimes focus too much on their children and forget to pay attention to adult relationships. Obviously I'm not saying they should in any way neglect their chidren, but having a healthy adult relationship with a man and making time for yourself is a good model to set for your children and is not something women should feel guilty about doing. Too many women make their children the center of their life to their and the kids detriment.

So in essence, it STILL stems back to the character of the individual. I also don't think women should select a man based on providing their child with a good quality of life.
