  • @emiellensen first you need the right version - 2.6, then you need an input card that can handle 4 inputs - suggest you try the garagecube forum for specs...

  • how did you get that freeframe "vampire death" plugin working into modul8 ? i was looking into it and modul8 isn't listed as a supported app

    thanks

  • i just used the mac version of the plug in.

    works fine

  • here's the best way I found.

key the footage in an editing program.

make a solid blue background for your clip.

use modul8's lumakey, click on the blue button in the RGB mode.if you get a fine blue outline, try turning up the compression settings in your codec.

  • Yes, easy going tutorial thanks... I am just wondering at the moment how to use the chroma key to put my model, like yours but on a blue screen, in front of another media... I f you know please tell me and if I find it I will tell you, thanks a lot !

  • Its very difficult to get rid of the delay with firewire.

If you are lucky it will be around 1/3rd of a second.

better to use a video mixer for live cameras.

  • FireWire 400 right?

    Thanks.

  • Hello! I want to use Modul 8 to make more exciting Big screen productions on concerts. But i am having concerns with the delay so i wanted to ask you what video capture card i should use. I am using an Imac so guess Pci is out of the question.. but I am lokking at the Canopus ADVC-110 (firewire), Any other suggestion? Tanx! and thanx for all the tutorials!
