  • As much as I adore MLP:FiM (and its music!), I wish people would stop commenting about it on music that INSPIRED MLP:FiM. Even if you don't enjoy the originals (which I, if I may add, also ADORE), please just realize that FiM songs wouldn't be the same without these pieces! C'mon, guys, let's recognize the inspiration.

  • Like if you were aware, loved, appreciated, and enjoyed Sondheim's music before MLP:FiM.

  • doesn't sound anything like 'art' of the dress

  • @song48 Did you get to 3:00? Mostly it's the lyrics that are similar. Compare "Art isn't easy"-"Dress-making's easy" "Bit by bit, putting it together"-"Stitch by stich, sewing it together" etc.

  • @classicalbk ok from 3:00 ok.. yeah i didnt get that far, this sounds crap as a song.. i'm sure it's better within the context of the musical..

  • @song48 The rhythm at 3:00 gets to be pretty similar. :P

  • Thumbs up if MLP sent you here.
