You do a great job with this song & sound a lot like Merle, good as anybody I've heard so far, but if I may, you struggle just a little on the higher notes as if you are holding back. You may have heard the expression...sing from your stomach not from your throat which may be the missing ingredient for you. If you can hit the higher notes and stay in tune, you will have a voice with a future. When Merle sings a song this one, he also has what I call a little "Cry" in his voice. Try that.
