how do you get the NN-19 Digital Sampler to say "Init Patch" and get the RPG-8 to work with it i dont understand what im doing wrong the RPG wont play
Thanx 4 this vid bro...I was having that exact problem at 3:51 using the nn-xt. I put the poly on 1 and turned the release knob all the way up on the nn-xt and it works also juz like u did in nn-19. glad i watched this vid lol
Good job homie. I only use Reason, Rewired into Pro Tools for drums in ReDrum. But i learned 1 or 2 new things i might try in the future... Keep it up.
this tutoral was on point thanks for the pointers @sonofsam if u click on that folde withe the blue background that should give u more sound options .
How did u get a bass drum in the NN-19? It looked like nothing was in yours. The patch was initialized. Please let me know how u do that?
As far as I know u can only play NN-19 patches or Dr. Rex patches in the NN-19. I wanna be able to change the notes on a bass drum the way u did. N e help is greatly appreciated. Thanks.
you can load individual .wav files aswell as patches.
if you look above and to the left of the blue screen on the NN19, there's a open browser button.
use this to add single sounds.
the browser button to the left of the blue screen will load patches that generally contain a sound recorded at different pitches and mapped to their corresponding keys/notes.
Your tips are very help helpful!! to add to the ReGroove segment, the regroove Mixer is also there to give assign a groove (such as mpc groove) to your tracks.
I have Reason 4.0 and have created alot of great tracks. I do want to know if you could give me some good websites to get good sounds from? I am a clearity freak.
nice tutorial. but the regroove stuff could have been illustrated better if you had had some hats and a kick playing to actually hear the time changes of the snare.
Where do you get those 808's? Does it come with Reason?

regroove seems long, isn't it quicker just to use snap to grid ? and do it manually

Ohhhhh. I confused the NN-19 for the NN-XT.
sonofsam717 2 years ago
you can do the same in the XT.
if you click the "show programmer" arrow to the bottom left of the XT, it'll open a piano roll screen.
there's a open browser button on there somewhere that'll let you load individual wavs.
