I don't think being able to beat the fucking shit out of an enemy = a perfect country.
I guess that being able defend yourself helps but if you want to talk destruction the UK has Nuclear missiles that could wipe a country off the map. Not a large country like the US or Russia, but could make a big dent.
BTW not all Europeans hate the USA. Despite what you read on YT, most English people I know support the USA.

If you bothered to actually read my post, I said no country is perfect, and even though America has its issues, overall we're the best.
The UK has more than nuclear missiles, they have the Nato alliance, and the US. The majority of British do support the USA, I know, and they're just as mad over this ordeal as we are. Even though we're pissed at Gordon Brown and Kenny MacAsshole, I think we all still are more than willing to support the English people back.

This is not a proud moment in the UK. We have British soldiers dieing on foriegn lands because of our fight against terrorism, and then we set an old one free and take a VIP trip home to see his loved one's before he dies. I suggest you do some serious research about WW2 in Europe. Britain fought alone against the Nazis for two years before Pearl Harbor brought the US into the war. British and US losses during WW2 were both around half a million. But the bulk of the fighting was actually on the Eastern Front. It was the Soviet army that destroyed 75% of Germany's forces. At the Battle of Stalingrad alone more died than the combined US/British losses. >20 million Russians died in all in WW2. Deal with it

Well, it was under control as well as it could be, seeing that we STOOD ALONE for nearly 3 years!!
I'll tell you this, i have a great respect for the US forces, but it is well known, that the British Army is, always was, and always will be,the best army in the world!!
You may have more by way of numbers in your forces,...but we prefer quality over quantity.
The only reason you beat the British in 1776, was because it was mostly Scots and Irish who fought us.
Now,...don't you forget that!!

When George W Bush won the election again, so many Americans apologized to Europeans (and guess what some Europeans were "generous" enough to accept our apology). And now look at what's happening. Americans are not the only ones that love oil. I will not defend George W Bush at all, but those people that apologized to Europe must now feel like a bunch of morons. What a joke!
