i run a garrett 72mm turbo with a synapse bov and mine doesnt surge or sound like that at all...thats a diff bov...for sure i run 32psi and have no issues...
72mm of compressor is alot to deal with even for the synapse. Part of the sound is the synapse, part is surge. Trust me, a synapse is on there and its working.
@Nettikturbo tell you the truth i would not run there BOV do to the fact they bag on every other bov by eather not setting it up right or just not putting a vacuum line to it! sorry but greddy, tile, among others make very nice bov's and dv valves. right now i have a turbo xs type 25 dv and i dont get any surge at any boost level that am at. (audi tt 1.8t) is what i drive and may not be a 72mm turbo but still form there vid's/ baging on others they should not have surge, just go's to show ya!
Well man, I agree I don't like big mouth businesses either.
However I also have a 72MM on my Supra, with an HKS SSQV. It does the same thing. It's simply too much volume. It's not the pressure, it's the volume. The irony is the higher the pressure it is, the better the valve would be at releasing it.
Two things.
#1 unfortunatly in most cases higher pressure = more volume
from a 72MM it does mean a LOT of volume.
#2 the larger the wheel the more momentum, that turob is stil moving air.
I love the fucking sound
