I don't think the world will end in 2012. I mean, the Mayens couldn't even predict when their own world would end. So how can they predicts when ours will?

I saw the movie today though. It's a awesome movie and somewhat convinceing.

My boss actually believes that the world "as we know it" will end on the winter solstice of 2012. She and her husband believe that we will have to open our minds and let go of superficiality in order to "step up" into a more mature spiritual existence. There is a good chance her husband may be building a bunker! (not sure if I'm kidding or not!)

As for me, I agree with ravenclaw...it will be just like when people thought the world would end at midnight 2000. Are you Y2012READY?

I laugh so hard over your videos. Sometimes when life is hum-drum or not the best of days (like when my car blew up), I tune into what I call "Joe TV" and it chases away the clouds........ truly funny stuff. Even the tragic stuff is funny. What a whooper of a sense of humor!

This movie would be fabulous on the big screen! There are some movies that just NEED to be seen on the big screen: Titanic, Far & Away (start of the big land race), Twister, Star Wars, etc..... This is one of those.

I saw the dust bowl show! That was crazy. But yeah, I think the 2012 thing is total BS. You know what, though? On New Year's Eve 2011, I'll probably do the same thing I did for Y2K ... make horrid fun of the panic until about 5 minutes before midnight. Then I'll inwardly crap my pants until the ball drops and the world doesn't end lol.

The Mayans didn't say that the world ends on 2012, they just had calendar cycles and 2012 was the last year in a cycle, that's all.

The people building bunkers are retards. If the whole world is dying, why would you want to stay back for clean up duty, and have to re-populate the whole Earth? No thanks. Plus, if the world is going to end in 2012, the Sun's most likely gonna fry the core, which will explode the planet... and the bunkers.

I don't really believe it either but the movie looks great but just to be sure i will be prepared on that day you know canned food and all that but other than that im staying home! and the Mayan calender ends because its the end of the age of Aquarius not the end of the world people are misinterpreting what that means
