  • Friends - You've been bamboozled xD

  • @MrLuminescent jee negere

  • x-FIles

  • This is a season 2 opening but from late in that season due to the 1967 copyright date, since it is the same arrangement of the theme music as heard in the closing credits from that same season.

  • @ClassicTVMan1981X it says 1966. It always said 1966...in 66, 67, 68, 69 and 70.

  • love this show so much <3

  • Good video.....But, poor quality.....To whoever posted this, do it again!!!!! Give this hilarious 1960s sitcom another plug!!!!! But, on five stars; I'll give five stars.....not for the video's quality.....but, for the video itself.....!!!!!

  • I am 2 years old, and I love this show.

  • J.R. Ewing sent me!

  • You have no idea what I would wish for if she was my genie;)

  • GOD! what'd you film this with?! Jeannie's bottle?!

  • Listen, homeboys, don't mean to bust your bubble,

but girls of the world ain't nothin' but trouble!

  • I'm ten too and Barbara Eden was a nice chick.

  • ich habs geliebt!

  • Great show. But not many people seem to point out that Larry Hagman was a brilliant physical comedian.

His nervous reactions, falls and general clumsiness always has me in stitches.

  • The ultimate question: Jeannie or Samantha Stevens?

    Jeannie, obviously.

  • Ahhh Barbara Eden and that harem girl outfit. A lot of hormones of 12 year olds got carbonized. I know mine did.

sorry had to post this XD

  • The reminds me of back in the early to mid 90s when Nick @ Nite would have re-runs of all the old shows...I was only 4 or 5 but remember all these shows

  • Why do some people have to include their age in the comments? These shows translate to many people on different levels. A good show is a good show, doesn't really matter how old you are, so please stop acting like anyone should care or pat you on the back for being so young, your age doesn't give you anything special. A good show is a good show.

  • @ewa2400 who are you, the comment police? be grateful they're not dissing the show or using profanity which is all too common on youtube comments these days.

  • @ewa2400 That seems to be a trend with the youngster youtubers.

  • i love this im only 8 and all i love is the addams family and this!

  • Cuts off the end!

  • La La, La La La La La! (: I Love The Music :D Catchy!

  • this is so cathchy

  • I Got Barbara Eden's Autograph Once on July 4th Weekend 1986. It was a Sunday Night. She signed my auto. She had on a Light Purple Velour Jumpsuit which she wore after her Show with Robert Goulet. I gave her a Compliment openly. she said " Awww.." and She smiled at me. We looked each other in the Eye for about 20 Seconds and just stared at eacj other. Her Smile was like Sunshine...

  • i dream of jeannie pussy

  • best sitcom ever

  • My teacher has a CD she plays for ballet that has all sorts of instrumental music on it, from "Mungojerry and Rupleteazer" to the Oompa Loompa song to this. The only bad thing about is it that it's starting to crap out. :(

  • During Season 2, the closing credits stated "Created and Produced by Sidney Sheldon." I wish that Sony would take the Season 3 opening they now use for Season 2 and re-dub this superior theme arrangement back on the Season 2 shows.

  • This was the ORIGINAL opening to Season 2, and still appeared when the series went into syndication (great drum work!). However, when Sony ('the evil empire") absorbed Columbia Pictures from Coca-Cola and had originally spun off Screen Gems (now back as an independent film release unit), they scrapped this version and replaced it with the Season 3/4/5 version. It was also replaced partly because it didn't have Sidney Sheldon's creator credit on it.

  • there are words to go with this song but they removed them

  • i love i dream jeannie thats all i watch :D

  • Think unsexy thoughts think unsexy thoughts.....ewwww

  • 懐かしいね~

  • Times change...

  • My name is Jeannie! ;b

  • There actually was a Larry Hagman BEFORE J.R....

  • I can't understand what was the big deal of not showing Barbara Eden's navel back then???? Stupid tv censors....

  • @rjsmth It was racy back then or not decent but today's standars are more lax

  • this show is on from 1:00pm to 3:00pm here, but in the USA i think its from 12:00 to 2:00 in channel 71

  • I Dream Of Jeannie Cusamano

  • the show is good but not my fav

  • Speaking of the title, who do dream of most?

  • For those who would like to see Barbara Edens navel, check out a movie called "The fuzz and the feminist"

  • For those who would like to see Barbara Edens navel, check a movie called "The fuzz and he feminist"

  • I love the 60s fashion too!

  • esta serie me gusta

  • Jeanie was a sexy ass bitch

  • i loved 0:14.

  • hey! this show took place in my favorite state in the U.S. It's definitely got my vote! :)

  • This is one of my favorite shows along with I Love Lucy, Bewitched, and The Patty Duke Show. They don't make them like they used to! (That is actually the 3rd and final theme song, the first was a summary of what the show was about the 2nd was a cute little instrumental with a red backdrop, this is still the best)

  • Jeannie had the goods.

  • Sorry homeboys, Don't mean to burst your bubble, But girls of the world ain't nothin' but... Wait, What? xD

  • i miss this on nick @ nite

  • this haswill smith smith all over it

  • i love this show :DDDD

  • this is bullshit, this m******fu**in video is a shit!!!!!!!!!!!!! wahahahahahaha

  • Oh to go back in time

  • You can get more laughs out of these old 60's shows in 30 minutes than you can with the most of the movies you'd see today @ $10-15 a ticket. How many would rather see Jeannie than Jennifer Anniston in another cheesy chick flick?

  • @coashddjj2 I know. Whenever I see a commercial for some comedy on TBS at the end of the commercial it says, "Very Funny". No, it's not. Go to Blinkx.com to watch them.

  • @coashddjj2 I agree. Old sitcoms make me laugh unlike the modern shows now. You can't top the Munsters, I Dream of Jeannie, Bewitched, Sanford & Son, All In the Family, Dick Van Dike, etc. If only I could invent a time machine.

  • Thats really the ending. I know because I used ti watch Jeannie every day after school. I've saw every episode at least ten times. I used to love Jeannie until I began watching something better Bewitched.

  • this song is so addictive

  • I still love this song!! Guess I wasn't the only one who liked dancing to it, Ferris Bueller did too.

  • I loved watching that back then when I was younger.... umm not in the 60's

    I'm only 18 !

  • Q legal

  • u guys listen to excuse me mr dj by criminal vibes lol

  • During the first season, 'jehobden', the soundstages for "JEANNIE" and "BEWITCHED" were virtually across the hall from each other. That made it easier for Sidney Sheldon to "borrow" sets from the latter for use on his own series; in fact, Samantha and Darrin's living room was slightly redressed and used TWICE during the first half of "JEANNIE"'s first season: as 'Rita Mitchell's' living room in "The Moving Finger", and the 'Jamison's' in "Whatever Became Of Baby Custer?".

  • I bought the Seasons one by one at a store starting August 2008. I hadn't noticed them before. Actually i did : ) , But I had put Jeannie on the back burner years before.

They were at a price club at reduced price. i bought season 2 first. then i picked up season 1 in color the next day and 2 days later i bought season 3. My date asked me why are we stopping by the price club. I said it's ok, they're for Mom..... : ) I found season 5 a week later at a different store. I bought Sn4 5 days ltr

  • When Barbara Eden gave me her autograph July 4th 1986 weekend after her Sunday night South Pacific ended. She and i met eyes person to person. We held the same piece of paper for a split second . She gave me a sincere personable smile that was like looking at a Bar of Gold. I was looking at my First Crush and right into her eyes. robert Goulet had coem out first and he and i spoke. he told me to wait right here. at age 20 I looked like a young Zac Efron, same hair and eyes.Just that I am 6'3",

  • The last FILMED episode of the series was "Hurricane Jeannie" [April 28, 1970], but the final first-run episode was "My Master, the Chili King" [May 26, 1970], 'Super'.

  • Yes, 'Blue'- both series were produced at Screen Gems/Columbia; Sidney Sheldon was responsible for "JEANNIE" as an independent producer, while "BEWITCHED" was directly produced by Screen Gems.

  • @fromthesidelines Both series often used a lot of the same sets, for instance Tony used Darrin's office for his own in IDoJ's "My Master the Civilian", and Tony's kitchen became the Tates' kitchen in a Bewitched ep. Also, the exteriors of the houses were on the same street at the Columbia Ranch. In the earliest IDoJ eps opening credits, when Tony's city of Cocoa Beach, FL was superimposed on the screen, you can see the Stephens' house in the background.

  • Just wondering...is there a connection between this show and Bewitched?

  • Statement of the import of women in late 20th century society.

  • Pretended to be Jeanie's "evil" twin sister when I was a kid.(Tonnny, Darrrling) Good memories.

  • I DREAM OF JEANNIE...IN COLOR

  • Television shows of the sixties always had great animated openings .

  • what was the last episode of i dream of jennie? anyway?

  • @SuperCrazyizzy it was "My Master, the Chili King" Tony's cousin Arvel persuades Jeannie to give Tony "financial security" as a surprise present by marketing his homemade chili, with Tony's picture on every can. Jeannie does not realize that Tony is not allowed to endorse products and thus the usual calamity ensues...

  • Where can I find a girl like Jeannie, who walks around in a bikini and calls me master?

  • @shfbdfi1273 in your dreams lol.

  • OMG...Barbara Eden was Smoking Hot especially to a 12 year old Boy with a Vivid imagination...just saying...LOL

  • Utter fucking bollocks!

  • Jeannie Vs. Samantha No contest its Jeannie.

  • my first crush..I was only 10..LOL

  • @prophet59 You are insane

  • fantastic series of 60's

  • in the last episode he should have woken up on the planet or where ever he found the jeanie and been like 'the whole thing was a dream'

  • I LOVE THIS SONG.....GOOD TIMES!

  • i like it. lol my dad introduced this to me.

  • "The girl in the bottle plays 'Spin The Astronaut.'"

That line ALWAYS made me laugh...

  • If this is a VHS rip, it's all wrong. The bending on top should be on the bottom and the edge should be on the right.

  • loved genie alot! allways wanted my own with babera eden lol

  • I enjoyed this amazing TV serie, here in Brazil.

  • I watched this amazing American TV serie, here in Brazil.

  • Barbara Eden was so hot.

  • Where have these days gone...Everything seemed to be possible. I really long back. Good old times.

  • Yes, where have these days gone indeed ....I also think everything was possible

  • Simply a "rip off" of Bewitched. (Or is it the other way around?) I'm not entirely sure. My sister used to watch this, but I was too little to follow it.

  • To jfpinell: "Bewitched" aired on television from 1964 to 1972 and "I Dream of Jeannie" aired on television from 1965 to 1970. If I had to guess, I would say that "I Dream of Jeannie" is simply a "rip off" of "Bewitched."

  • @gibsonj338 You are right but I preferred Jeannie much more than Bewitched.

  • japanese title is "kawaii majo jeannie(lovly witch jeannie)"

  • I love Jeannie

  • i used to watch this lol. it used to come on nickatnight.

  • era pra eu ter me casado com a Jennye.... aff...

  • i remember i used to watch this when i like about 9. my mom has started watching it again.

  • so hab ich das ja noch nie gesehen !

tolles Intro Staffel 5 kenn ich leider nicht

    Toll

  • all time classic... still watch it everyday !!!

  • They don't make theme songs like this anymore.

This also reminds me of that moment in The Simpsons where Homer is trying to think "unsexy thoughts" caused by his recently hired, attractive co-worker, so he thinks of Barney in a bikini humming this theme song. Hilarious!

  • Love this theme. It's also my ring tone.

  • The plot of at least 25% Romantic comedy anime
