I was in seattle last night.

Was it me, or did anyone else feel all of the energy the whole day/night..?

But most of all, the 21 minutes of silence, was amazing, lets talk about feeling the energy now. Wow.

  • yeah! i was in Kansas City! displace me was loads of fun and for a great cause...thanks for posting your video and helping to educate people about the problems the northern Ugandans face every day.

  • wow... over 300 views already? it hasn't even been 24 hours... and i've already gotten an honor... that's awesome! thank you guys so much... just so you know... if you liked this video, don't worry, it's not the last of it's kind... there will be plenty more to come revolving around politics and other issues in the world, as well as some personal experiences in my life... stay tuned... and keep fighting for change... spread the word... awareness is key...

  • That's where I was! Fantastic video, I can't wait to edit my stuff together. Last night was such an amazing experience and I'm so glad I came over from DE, it was so moving to see thousands of people all united for one cause. Hopefully this will not only help our government to get involved, but our generation as well. Youth today need to get fired up about something and I believe that this is it. Our generation needs to realize that we CAN make a difference. We CAN change the world.

  • I drove up to DC from North Carolina-- 100% worth it! Great video. (:

  • I was in Nashville! Woot

  • I was in Los Angeles!

  • I was in Chicago

  • YA! i was at the one in LA!

  • yeahh!! i was there, too!!

  • i was here =)

  • What we also need to be up-in-arms about is the surplus of ready-to-eat meals that the FEMA just dumped instead of sent to people that needed them. They had TONS (I don't remember the exact figure) of military ready-to-eat meals that they had extra of after hurricane Katrina. And they just got rid of them instead of used them. Now THAT is what is ridiculous. Imagine how many Ugandan and Sudanese refugees they could have fed!

  • agreed... i'm all for support in and outside of the country.

  • So basically, the gyst of it is, politicians are lying scumbags only concerned with furthering their own agenda. Can't wait 'til I'm old enough to run for public office. There needs to be changes and soon.

  • I WAS IN AUSTIN!!

All colors, one people...getting the chance to be a part of 67,000+ passionate voices gathered across the nation in 15 locations to speak out for this cause was an amazing experience. I can't wait to see more footage!

  • I WAS IN NASHVILLE!

it was amazing to see everyone get together and fight for something so far away from home but so close to our hearts.

i raised the same question last night.

why are we fighting a war we can't win in Iraq when we can help the displaced in Uganda.

  • amen!

  • Right on!

I was at the Austin Texas gathering. Its awesome to see footage from the other locations!

I hope what we did will make a good impact.

  • It will... just keep believing.

  • I agree that something needs to be done about the invisible children and what's happening in Uganda. Something needs to be done about Darfur too. I was going to go to D.C. for the event myself, but couldn't find transport. But our soldiers can't just abandon the people of Iraq and leave them to genocide, like you suggested to the side.

  • I wouldn't want anyone left in genocide, but I guess it's kind of like you have to pick and choose your battles. What I'm trying to say is that if we're in Iraq, why aren't we in Uganda or Darfur? Oh, that's right, because there's profit for the right people in Iraq. I'm all for foreign aid/relief when it's done with good intentions. That's my only point.

  • Our military is stretched thin as it is and Sudan will not let us in.
