i miss my DS fat it broke a few years ago :( idk what to do ....i have a DS lite a DSi and a 3DS ..but is it worth buying it again now ??

@aashir8 If you can find one for $20 or so I'd say go for it. But it all depends on how much you really want another Original DS.

@TransformersxBoy Any color DS is great. Try Ebay, Craigslist, or GameStop. The best there is would be RED!!!

I personally own a blue DS. But The Titanium DS is the most popular

my opnion is the oringal ds i have dsi one of the buttons is not working so im returning it back a trade in im going to get a regular dsi

oh ya i hate dsi beacuse camera i dont like the wifi is not working so ya and when i get it im going to buy black ops and the sims 3 and a gameboy game

I upgraded my original ds to a dsi. Dsi fealt very good and not as big and nice screens. Preety much my original ds got scratched and old so I gave it to a friend.

@localSickened I guess getting the original DS for $30 seems like a good deal but there's one problem. What's the point in getting the original DS if you can't get a charger for it. I guess it would be better if you saved money for a 3DS but only downside about getting a 3DS is you can't play Gameboy Advance games on it, unlike the original DS.

god i f**king hate my brother i let him use my original ds and he dropped it in our sink by accident and it broke the next day he gave me a copy of pokemon diamond and pearl he preordered for my birthday and didn't get to play them till the ds lite came out and my dad had enough money i had the mario kart red version i miss it i want a original ds but my dad is getting me a dsi with pokemon platinum and heart gold with a starter kit from walmart .com

@dglegend I don't think there are any stores that sell brand new original DS's. Because I havn't seen an original DS being sold at a store in a long time and also Nintendo has mostly been advertising the DS Lite and the DSi. I think you can find a original DS on e-bay or if you're lucky you might find one at a pawn shop.

I'm really not quite sure. If I buy the Nintendo DSiXL I will definitely do a review on it, but if I don't buy it I probably won't be able to review it. The thing is I'm not sure if I am going to buy the system or not.

@spider486 i say it depends on what type of games you want. hard core and better looking, i would go with the psp. just saying but, i dont see god of war on the ds any time

ive had a ds since the first day the original ones came out. its been dropped plenty of times by accident (im sometimes a bit of a clutz) and its never broke down and its never turned off when its been dropped. my friend has a ds lite and my other friend has a dsi. the ds lite got dropped a couple of times and it broke. the dsi got dropped and it broke the first time. all in all, the original ds is the toughest and most sturdy to get out of all of them.

DS Lites are very prone to hinge cracks. I have a DSi, but if I had to go back I would have bought an original DS. Ignore the bad screen light, the DS Phat is a tough system, tougher than the Lite or DSi.
