Since Nintendo patched the bugs for running homebrew in 4.2.

Some homebrew apps/programs you don't want to lose might not function anymore.. You have to search for a safe 4.2 updater program wouldn't install official 4.2 update since it could delete some hacks...

As a homebrew developer, we updated the free installer and offered a legal alternative to expensive guides and instructional video's on the net. From there came the demand.

These sites claim it is their enabling technology behind the hack, yes of course this is illegal and misleading.. none of this we do.

thank god it worked. most people are going to have the 3.3u hack. Make sure you take the go to the 3.3 firmware file and overwrite the same file on the sd card. Del your previous zelda save file and go to the sd card it should copy right over. I loaded the first save file and it worked like a charm. Thanx for the video and updates. Oh yeah you don't have to talk to the guy just walk backwards and it'll start the the hack. Good luck. oh yeah make sure you format your sd card. Worked 4 me

Alright I need help! I have the homebrew channel i can get to it on the main menu, but when i go to the homebrew channel all i see are the gecco and the globe at the lower right corner and the bubbles. It says networking not initialized. What should i do?

Reboot Wii, sometimes this happes.. this is normal. has to do with your internet...

ok dont upgrade whatever u do and only about 20% of burnt games actually work on your wii and on top of that the homebrew channel can only take 2 kinds of discs when there are about 5-6 kinds for burnt games but it works if you download the game from the net and burn it to the right kind of disc 100% of the time and its also well worth it for the region free capbility which works perfectly

no you can safely delete it. if you want to install again just run the easy home brew installer again

there is no change in bricking your wii if you don't update to new firmware above 3.3 there is another hack released to allow updates above 3.3

Be sure to fully format your SD card,

Only deleting files in windows explorer is not enough, hope this helps you out.

When I do the Twilight Hack, and talk to the mayor, it starts to "crash" and unpack all the files on me Wii. (As it's supposed to.) But it doesn't finish, it says, "boot.elf could not be read" do you know why?

i found out what was wrong - i had a gamecube memory card in, which for some reason stops the homwbrew channel from working, but when i took it out, it worked just fine, with the new update.

might be a firmware 3.3 issue. Overwrite the files from the firmware3.3 folder that came in the distribution. If you have got firmware 3.2 you can run the installer. other wise it will instruct you to update the files for firmware 3.3 MAKE SURE YOU SELECT THE RIGHT CODE TOO :)

You need the twilight game disk... Haven't got one??? Borrow one... You will not need to have the Game disk after the hack..
