I was born and bred in Edmonton, North London, (and I lived down there for nigh-on thirty years, man and boy!) We used to have a lovely little, old picture-house just like that, over Enfield Town- (about two miles away), 'til bloody Enfield Council decided to knock the bloody thing down, and whack a bleedin' great Tesco's up in its bloody place! Heartbreaking, that was- (and it annoyed a lot of local people an' all!)
