The shift came from the Senate hearings on steroid in which Vince was called in to testify. Vince decided that the best way to get out of any sport sanctioning commissions thumb was to reveal that wrestling wasn't real, and ergo not a sport and ergo not subject to the rules. It was a neat trick, but isn't what ROH is doing. They're a niche organization. They play to a crowd who wants to see pure wrestling and they're very good at what they do.

I know, just idk just always thought ROH was supposed to be about wrestling (2002 - 2005) but now it keeps turning into the tna/wwFe bit by bit, even there matches are getting more spoty

I don't think you have anything to worry about. ROH is still more pure wrestling than WWE/TNA combined. Their show are still mostly clean finishes and in-ring bouts. They have adapt their style a little bit to showcase other attractions, but the core of ROH is and always will be pure wrestling.

Outside the company? Nigel has been steadily in ROH since at least '04, maybe even '03, he's the greatest Pure Champion in history, and that's a belt that they retired over a year ago.

Shouldn't it be Claudio/Hero in the cage instead of Mcguinness/Hero in the cage? It just seems that the Claudio/Hero fued is more personal than the Mcguinness one.

I'd like to see a match where Mcguinness is banned from using his lariat and if he does, he loses the title.That's what the Dayton title match should be.
