So my take on this is 2 choices shave your head and accept your baldness or save your money and get a good undetectable hair system. And if you're a millionaire or something then look into the best hair transplant doctors. If I go bald one day I'll choose the hair system option I could care less what anyone else thinks.
And if having hair is what defines you and gets you waking up every morning and loving yourself to get out into the real world and function like a sane human being then getting the hair piece would be a positive thing. There is nothing shameful about wearing a piece. I mean you have no other choice because there is no cure for baldness anyways. And the up side to this is there are hair pieces these days that are undetectable like the Farrel hair system (I suggest you check that out)

We all stood on the edge of the dance floor of a local Cattle Market (Night Club) & all you could see was all these Women with bald men. Their fickle creatures at the best of times! basically the reason why your hair falls off is because blood can't reach the vessels thus it lacks oxygen and nutrients and dies.blood has a tough time getting to the top of the scalp that's why men start balding from the top first.

I used to try Rogaine at two different occasions and it just itches my scalp dry with my wallet. I also got a dvd for hair club for men and watched those late night infomercials about hair loss...I feel silly thinking about it now. Cheers M!

Not necessarily chum. Its impossible to completely postpone hair loss, however if you catch it early you can treat it early and have hair for much longer.
Well its genetic mate if your gonna go bald your gonna go bold. But don't worry about it, cosmetically there are plenty of options, and looks aren't everything. Rather have a unique talent than hair
You could have tried propecia. It's a much better and effective treatment than rogaine although it does carry some risks. Although having lost this much it might be better to say, 'screw it'
yeah, going bald fucking sucks. I'm 22 and getting there. If people knew what we went through they wouldn't be so judgmental. It makes me want to carry clippers around and buzz some of said persons hair off everytime they give a judgmental look to a bald guy. At one point I contemplated suicide, but then I shaved my head. Yes I do live in the UK. I can't really answer your questionhaving not visited America though what I can say is the majority of people in the UK don't find baldness attractive, and its a huge sign of aging. However, it all depends on the individual. There are plenty of slap heads that look hansome enou, that don't suffer with a dip in confidence or have any issues attracting women.
You're not the the only one, I started to lose hair back in high school, wich was really a killer of your self-confidence, you see all your friend with normal hairline and when someone sais to back then "Man, you're going bald" it really sucks.

@HBK344356 I know there is a cure, my friend, there are many cures. My grandfather cured baldness, I tried his method, but it didn't work with me. I tried some other stuff, not working. There is also an expensive hair-transplant surgery, too expensive for me. Even I have that money, I wouldn't do it, I would buy something more usefull.

It helped him, he's 73, and he has hair, black hair.I tried this, it only slow down the hairloss, but when I start using this, a lot of hair has already fall down, so no use for me. I still have more hair than the guy on the video though :PP
So it may be a good method for people that have first signs of hairloss but still have regular hair.
well, my Dad's twin brother is bald, but I'd say that the majority of hair loss rests on my mothers side, and from what I've heard DHT is effected mainly by recessive genes from that side of your gene pool.
I have to be honest, I'm not really trying any more hair products at the moment. Got myself a gym set up and I'm gonna be getting myself in shape, get a little bigger in the arms and thinner in the stomach. Probably help me a lot more than any slap on product.
I have Male pattern hair loss - I have used Rogaine [Minoxidil 5%] for a year now and nothing has worked! Just made my scalp itchy and wasted money! My dermatologist who specialises in hairloss said that propecia is NOT recommended as it can cause prostate cancer, impotence and depression etc. Plus like Regaine you need to keep using it and it can become costly!

forget wearing a rug and do not ever get a hair transplant. you are far too bald to disguise your baldness with a transplant and it will look worse. Propecia or better yet Avodart is the only thing that can put a pause on hair loss but you have to take it before you have lost your hair. You have already lost it. Same with Rogaine/Regain.
@orangedac Hair transplants do indeed work - but it depends how much your willing to pay. for £4,000 - £5,000 you get a crap job, where you can tell a mile off it's a transplant and looks awful, but if you pay atound £7,000 - £8,00 you will get a really decent job done, like the celebs get, e.g.Elton John.

yes, some women dont mind baldness, they do indeed tolorate it, but most hate it.
I'm 26 and have hair thinning in the back a little bit im still able to cover it up or cut it short. I have been thinning since 24 so not as bad as you. I use organic shampoo and also nioxen shampoo and conditioner. I take Propecia and use the Rogaine foam and have been taking it well over a year and it still seems to be thinning but maybe not as bad as it would be who knows. I also take Saw palmetto and try to eat veggies and exercise. You may need sugery at your point and its more like 10 K.
Was it worth it? most definitely not. One of my testicles has also grown very large - the docs say it's a benign hydrocele, but the fact that it started growing around the same time I was on the meds is no co-incidence.

I'm afraid it does look to be yes. My Dad isn't bald, but most of the men on my mother's side of family practically are, and its said that that's where we inherate the recessive gene for hairloss.
Dude, I'm not gonna say that beauty is skin deep or any crap like that, cause lets face it, it effects us on so many levels, but what I will say is that the way I got through it when I was a lad was by shaving all my hair off. You could have tried propecia. It's a much better and effective treatment than rogaine although it does carry some risks. Although having lost this much it might be better to say, 'screw it'

yeah, going bald fucking sucks. I'm 22 and getting there. If people knew what we went through they wouldn't be so judgmental. It makes me want to carry clippers around and buzz some of said persons hair off everytime they give a judgmental look to a bald guy. At one point I contemplated suicide, but then I shaved my head. From years of weight training it doesn't look that bad. It's whatever now.

Yes I do live in the UK. I can't really answer your questionhaving not visited America though what I can say is the majority of people in the UK don't find baldness attractive, and its a huge sign of aging. However, it all depends on the individual. There are plenty of slap heads that look hansome enou, that don't suffer with a dip in confidence or have any issues attracting women.
Its a damn pity I'm just not one of the :)

There is also an expensive hair-transplant surgery, too expensive for me. Even I have that money, I wouldn't do it, I would buy something more usefull.

It helped him, he's 73, and he has hair, black hair.I tried this, it only slow down the hairloss, but when I start using this, a lot of hair has already fall down, so no use for me. I still have more hair than the guy on the video though :PP
So it may be a good method for people that have first signs of hairloss but still have regular hair.

well, my Dad's twin brother is bald, but I'd say that the majority of hair loss rests on my mothers side, and from what I've heard DHT is effected mainly by recessive genes from that side of your gene pool.

I have Male pattern hair loss - I have used Rogaine [Minoxidil 5%] for a year now and nothing has worked! Just made my scalp itchy and wasted money! My dermatologist who specialises in hairloss said that propecia is NOT recommended as it can cause prostate cancer, impotence and depression etc. Plus like Regaine you need to keep using it and it can become costly!

I too am going bald, I first noticed it about 3 years ago now and I can honestly say it's completely ruining my life. I wear a hat constantly to hide it, which is probably making it worse. I never had a problem picking up girls, and now I have no confidence whatsoever. Everytime I go to the hairdressers I think 'maybe it's time to shave it off' but I can't do it. I'm that low ive even stopped socialising

forget wearing a rug and do not ever get a hair transplant. you are far too bald to disguise your baldness with a transplant and it will look worse. Propecia or better yet Avodart is the only thing that can put a pause on hair loss but you have to take it before you have lost your hair. You have already lost it. Same with Rogaine/Regain.

I'm 26 and have hair thinning in the back a little bit im still able to cover it up or cut it short. I have been thinning since 24 so not as bad as you. I use organic shampoo and also nioxen shampoo and conditioner. I take Propecia and use the Rogaine foam and have been taking it well over a year and it still seems to be thinning but maybe not as bad as it would be who knows. I also take Saw palmetto and try to eat veggies and exercise. You may need sugery at your point and its more like 10 K.

Was it worth it? most definitely not. One of my testicles has also grown very large - the docs say it's a benign hydrocele, but the fact that it started growing around the same time I was on the meds is no co-incidence.
I was so bummed about it I scarcely cared if the treatment would have killed me. Proof really that the problem was inside my head rather than on it.

I felt I stuck out like a sore thumb. Old before my time.
I disliked it so much I went on an "extreme" treatment - Finasteride and Oral Spironolactone, with a topical in the form of Oestrogen I manufactured out of birth control pills.
Hell, it grew most of my hair back, but it also gave me depression, gyno, womanly hips, and no sex drive. Baldness basically made me insane.

Last week I looked into transplants but was told cos the back of my head isnt bald yet (just middle) I would have to go back in 5 years to get the back done. Dude, I'm not gonna say that beauty is skin deep or any crap like that, cause lets face it, it effects us on so many levels, but what I will say is that the way I got through it when I was a lad was by shaving all my hair off. Have you looked at Nizoral (ketoconazole 2%) anti dandruff shampoo? It supposedly works to stop hair loss and in some cases regrow hair.
You can get the boots brand version of it if you can't find it where you are.
