@ARMCommunity on this video is not phh's version, on other - phh's and they both work fast as x86, but using gnome in less then 512mb RAM is VERY awfull, because no more memory for application
I install lxde+openbox (instead of gnome) and nodm (instead of gdm) - it take only 50-70mb of ram>1Gb swap partition =)
@SovGVD is it any tutorial to install lxde ubuntu on ac100, and another 2 questions - is skype with video working and are the special language characters (like ęźą etc) working?
@kriisu first - install ubuntu on it (for example: url ac100(dot)gudinna(dot)com/README/), then install lxde as in any other ubuntu's system (ex: synaptic or 'sudo apt-get install lxde' in terminal)
skype is not work, it hasn't ARM architecture support (and it's not open source, so unable to recompile it for ARM)
any special chars (and any other stuff/software/tools) like in the Ubuntu on PC
Umm... yeah so this has no meaning whatsoever, Ubuntu 10.10 vs Ubuntu 11.04, the kernels are different, different versions of software, etc. It's not using the same stuff, so it's technically a worthless comparison.
Your test is flawed, you are comparing 2 different releases which have different Kernels and drivers. Not a fair test

Ubuntu @ AC100 works MUCH faster from internal EMMC, than from SD card
