I actually don't think that the hayabusa was wide open at it's max power output. The front end barely moved and with that bike, even with the long swingarm it should have shifted upward into a little wheelie if full power was on. I get more upward movement than that on my bike at that speed and i'm only on a vfr 400 so figure that out.

Now from a race from 80mph I would agree the bike should get the jump unless it has major turbo lag. Now by time they hit 130+ that viper should start pulling. The only way to settle it is to actually run it again and have a full all out race with me or you there to watch.

A stock viper (96) should run a 12.2 1/4mi, That means it needs 2 full seconds just to catch a stock busa. Plus, my old stock zx-10 could hit over 100 in first gear! So the busa should be in at the most 2nd gear for traction... I don't know... sounds a little fishy
Gearing and aero become very important at that speed (120+ mph). These vipers make 1000+ lbs of torque at 3,000 RPM with 2 huge 345 wide contact patches to put the power down. Watch the speedometer video of the twin turbo viper in mexico. It goes from 80-140 in about 3 seconds. It probably would have helped also if the rider got down behind the fairing more.
I own a busa so i will say this. TT viper is pretty fast. It probably runs 9's and does close to 200. It has a better shot of winning from a pull but not from zero as shown.

Ralph Medrano races in the Outlaw ProStreet which is alot different than regular ProStreet considering that they can change the motor, use nitrous, and can run a full slick up to 7 inches wide on extremely long stretched swingarm. The ProStreet world record is held by Mike Slowe 7.17 at 201mph actually on a street tire. Nice guy, doesnt live far from me. Easily one of the best riders in the world. Told me at the track once you go past a certain horsepower on a bike you are just gona sit and spin
There are cars that do wheelies, and its alot more impressive than a bike doing one. Ive even seen cars doing endo's. Go search "Mini Cooper Gymkhana". And if u need a bike to get a girl, your a looser and shes a bike slut. U can clearly see the turbo on this busa. There is also a big difference going from a roll than dig. The highway takes away the bikes fast launch from a dig cause its so light and plays to better top end pull of the car

I know Vipers dont have a 1000 horsepower stock. I never said they did. This Viper is from Heffner Performance and Ive seen the stats on it. Vipers also dont have 700hp stock either. The 08-2010 4th gen Viper makes 600bhp which is around 500hp to the wheels. 3rd Gen Convertible made 500hp while the Coupe made 510hp. 2nd gen vipers like the one in the video made 450hp from the factory.
Vipers are fast as hell, one of the only cars american made that can actually beat bikes. Max, vipers do not have over 1k HP stock, they have I believe around 700 or close. Either way, a TT Viper that's tuned... or maybe even not tuned will kill a bike. Only shame is... the only bikes that are TT are ones that are for show only :(

@badassxr50r No I think most people who peruse these videos know that cars tend to have more grip and better aerodynamics. But if you have seen a 275hp bike that weighs 650lbs w/ rider. That's 2.3lb/1hp Let's say viper is 3800lbs with umm 1200hp (I doubt it, but maybe) that is 3.1lb/1hp so don't you think the bike would have gotten a better jump? Besides if this viper is so badass why doesn't he race a 500whp busa. There all over the place.

@bill3rdshift The busa's wet weight is 550lbs. so only 100lb rider?! I am thinking 700lbs with rider. The drag coefficient for the viper is .35 and the bike is 0.561. That is a huge difference. Now from a race from 80mph I would agree the bike should get the jump unless it has major turbo lag. Now by time they hit 130+ that viper should start pulling. The only way to settle it is to actually run it again and have a full all out race with me or you there to watch.

I have to say I can't understand this race. Or how a twin turbo viper could beat that bike. There's something they are not telling us. A stock viper (96) should run a 12.2 1/4mi, That means it needs 2 full seconds just to catch a stock busa. Plus, my old stock zx-10 could hit over 100 in first gear! So the busa should be in at the most 2nd gear for traction... I don't know... sounds a little fishy

Gearing and aero become very important at that speed (120+ mph). These vipers make 1000+ lbs of torque at 3,000 RPM with 2 huge 345 wide contact patches to put the power down. Watch the speedometer video of the twin turbo viper in mexico. It goes from 80-140 in about 3 seconds. It probably would have helped also if the rider got down behind the fairing more.

I own a busa so i will say this. TT viper is pretty fast. It probably runs 9's and does close to 200. It has a better shot of winning from a pull but not from zero as shown.

Ralph Medrano races in the Outlaw ProStreet which is alot different than regular ProStreet considering that they can change the motor, use nitrous, and can run a full slick up to 7 inches wide on extremely long stretched swingarm. The ProStreet world record is held by Mike Slowe 7.17 at 201mph actually on a street tire. Nice guy, doesnt live far from me. Easily one of the best riders in the world. Told me at the track once you go past a certain horsepower on a bike you are just gona sit and spin

There are cars that do wheelies, and its alot more impressive than a bike doing one. Ive even seen cars doing endo's. Go search "Mini Cooper Gymkhana". And if u need a bike to get a girl, your a looser and shes a bike slut. U can clearly see the turbo on this busa. There is also a big difference going from a roll than dig. The highway takes away the bikes fast launch from a dig cause its so light and plays to better top end pull of the car

I know Vipers dont have a 1000 horsepower stock. I never said they did. This Viper is from Heffner Performance and Ive seen the stats on it. Vipers also dont have 700hp stock either. The 08-2010 4th gen Viper makes 600bhp which is around 500hp to the wheels. 3rd Gen Convertible made 500hp while the Coupe made 510hp. 2nd gen vipers like the one in the video made 450hp from the factory.

Vipers are fast as hell, one of the only cars american made that can actually beat bikes. Max, vipers do not have over 1k HP stock, they have I believe around 700 or close. Either way, a TT Viper that's tuned... or maybe even not tuned will kill a bike. Only shame is... the only bikes that are TT are ones that are for show only :(

Peteyperks this is the same Viper that goes from 0-155mph in 9.7 seconds. The new Busa takes 9.8 seconds to get to 145mph.

I agree power to weight ratios dont add up. His viper has to weigh close to 4000lbs. Even with 1000hp his PtoW is still 4 to 1. A hayabusa weighs what at the most 600 to 700 lbs. that is less than 2 to 1 which makes the hayabusa much more faster than that viper. I agree that was a bullshit video.
