"I have searched far and wide for an acoustic bass that has good tone, volume, clarity and warmth. These basses have all four. I really just love these basses, the tone is just fantastic. The volume is way way better than other basses I have tried, largely due to the suspended bracing that lets the top move like a speaker cone. You can ..."

I Bought a Boulder Gr. solitaire last year. Its really a terrible guitar. Its hard to tune, the preamp doesn'tworks well. In one word its chinese crap. Spend your money to antother guitar!!!
I played both the steel string and the nylon string classical today. If I needed a steel string I would of bought it right then and there but I already have a dandy acoustic steel. I liked the Bolder Creek nylon but the action seemed high to me. That can be fixed. I'm still thinking about buying the nylon Solitare LCL4 at $800, no case.
quite a variety of sounds. Some sounds like a blanket is stuffed inside, some quacky, some background music is nice ~crisp and resonant. So what is the signature sound, if there is one? (it's okay if there isn't one) I like the innovative thinking. A 5 minute video gives a snapshot of the process, philosophy, structure, and sound. INteresting. I'd keep an eye on this company for it's niche market.

I didn't buy the nylon string guitar 'cause I didn't care for most of it. I ended up buying a Orpheus Valley Romida guitar for $1100 dollars.
