I agree. for anyone thinking this would be a HUGE change, in fact its pretty much a case of having only cubicles, and not urinals too. I am however worried that many girls (just for example) might feel unsafe entering the same bathroom as a large group of boys... again, just an example. so this is a tricky one, not just in the question of LGBT, but also other regular social issues...
heterosexuality is not born invincible,it has to be nurtured and can be easily undermined.
this is not gender neutral,it is gender neutering...this kind of social engineering should be rejected, and confused children are often abused children,& probable child abuse cases should be formally investigated, starting with the parents of a disturbed child.
sure,we could pretend nothing's wrong but we would have to abandon all common sense, along with our responsibiltiy to intervene when called for.
My premise is that transgender male youths are victims of child abuse.Mental, physical &/or sexual.
My premise: Male youths are not born that way but are conditioned to be gay and/or transgender.
My premise:The male youth in the above video is not a girl in a male body, but is mentally disturbed abuse victim who has been turned gay & has gender identity issues as a result. His parents should be questioned exhaustively.
@2013wearestillhere But... I wasn't conditioned to be gay. It just kind of happened. And if you're worried about me being some promiscuous sexual deviant, don't worry. I'm actually a pretty conservative person. Plus I'm studying to be an engineer; I have no social life.
The problem for me is that it sounds like justifying abuse.
Although could you link me to some studies that support this? I like to keep my research as unbiased as possible and all my sources point in the other direction.
@counterclockwise345 "The problem for me is that it sounds like justifying abuse."
I'm not sure what you meant...My whole diabolical plot is to give people a choice, people knowing they can choose regardless of what went on in the past or who made the choice originally...I especially want abused children to have a choice, and not be told they were born gay simply because they're gay presently because an elder turned them onto it,and they are now hooked.
@2013wearestillhere I was confused when you wrote "My premise: Male youths are not born that way but are conditioned to be gay and/or transgender." since you did not put that in the context of an abusive situation so it remained a general statement. Honestly I wouldn't call those people gay in the first place. Having a homosexual relation is not the same as being attracted to the same gender. So I guess I agree with you with a different conceptual understanding.
@2013wearestillhere And since I couldn't fit this in my last comment: I'm not really going to say anything about transgender people because I don't know that much about that specifically.
@JasielMartin92 Not exactly. there are actually numerous intersex conditions that could leave someone as XXX, XXY, XY women, XX men, etc. Things are a lot more complicated than just 'man' and 'woman'. You in fact could not tell that a lot of XXX women or XY women are any different.

I'm sorry but I think transgenders have a psychological problem. It's wrong. God created us all in his image, it is not the place of Man to screw with God.
@DeltaBravo1216 You aren't sorry, so don't say that you are. People like you are the ones that hurt transgendered people, and you have no excuse for that.
@DeltaBravo1216 Really? So, what do braces and glasses and haircuts do? According to your statement then, millions of people everywhere are screwing God over.
@MaurJacobLUV Glasses do not change a person, that's like saying looking out a window makes you a tree. Haircuts are not changing who a person is, it grows back eventually, and most people don't want long hair. Braces don't change a person, they use the natural process of the body with a little help from wires which are later removed.
@tommybombadil1 We are still altering God's image. God made our hair and teeth one way since we were born and we are changing it. It may not be as extreme as transexualism, but it's still changing it nonetheless.
I'm a 16 year old FTM and I agree on the gender neutral bathroom, I hate going in the girls bathroom at school and I obviously can't go into the guys so a gender neutral bathroom would make me feel better about everything.
If you're born a woman, you should dress at least kind of like a woman. If you're born a man, you should dress at least kind of like a man. It's called conforming to society, get used to it. I wish I could walk around all day wearing nothing but a garbage bad but I don't because society tends to look down on that.
@BillTheWaterDrinker I disagree. What if a person transitions? Why do clothes matter so much when really all they are meant to do is keep you from getting dirt in nooks and crannnies and keep you warm? And why are people so concerned about what is between a person's legs when they are not partnered with them? That sounds perverted to me.
@thefoosballwizard Clothes are not only meant for hygiene and warmth. If they were, then we would only be wearing plain sweatpants and sweatshirts. No ties, skirts, collars, writing on the clothing, logos, suits, etc. Would you go to a job interview wearing sweat pants? Would you hire someone who came to an interview wearing a plastic bag? No, you wouldn't. Clothes are used to portray things about a person, including gender.
@BillTheWaterDrinker I meant the actual, mechanical usage of them. The reason why clothing was invented in the first place. Wearing a suit and tie for an interview is a social construct, and as long as you don't know what bits are under the suit, it should not matter because it's nobody's business.
While a transgender woman like myself can use the women's room and a transgender man can use the men's room, multi-stall and single gender neutral restrooms are still very needed even if you don't like the concept and the reason why is because some people are gender non conforming and it would be helpful for many other reasons as well.
But isn't pushing for a 'gender neutral' toilet basically causing a situation where, in future, we could be simply just considered a 'third sex' as opposed what we should be which is male or female? I am a post op transwoman and I'd hate to have to use a 'gender neutral' bathroom or toilet. It would destroy and belittle everything I have gone through to be what I am today.
@cheghench I'd just use it because I enjoy some peace and quiet when I'm taking a squirt.... Lol. The option should be there for those who need it, but if you pass well enough, then you should be able to go into the bathroom of your choice because it's not like they check what you've got in your drawers upon entering, right?
I agree with what you are saying, and I think that anyone who identifies with a gender should be able to use the washroom that goes along with that gender. But I think that for some people, like people who do not identify with any gender (genderqueer, androgynous, etc.), it would be good to have a gender neutral washroom.
@LimitedPassions The "gender neutral" toilet would just be for those who aren't gender conforming so they have a place to take a squirt without getting attacked. If you pass well enough to go into the bathroom of your choice and you feel comfortable with it, go for it, because no one needs to know what you've got in your pants/skirt.
