Oh man, I remember this too. It wasn't as awkward as I remembered it but you could see how he just wasn't in the mood to be there that night.

While Paul's sense of humor did indeed tend to be risque, I think during this show it was more than that.....I think he was getting very near the point of leaving the band, and his "humor" was one part irrritabliity. I also think that the quesion being about family/Paul's impending fatherhood hit a nerve, in that he was more than a little anxous to get home.

ahh, found it.....I remember this moment on live television....when Hester seemed to snap...just made the whole moment awkward...it became obvious that he didn't like having his personal life known....and to think its even worse these days....I had no idea about Paul's personality previous to this.
