Remembered for hitting World Series winning homer in 1960. However, what a lot of fans don't remember is that he was the greatest fielding 2nd baseman of all time. He had the fastest hands and could get rid of the ball quicker than anyone who ever played the game.
Maz...the kid from west virginia who with one swing of his all-time great clutch bat felled the "mighty" yanks...its a damn shame the pseudo-intellectual, jock sniffing writers who are either enamored with ny and/or big cities or from from them, took so long to induct the guy who turned the fastest double play ever, was the best defensive 2 bagger ever, and also one of the most clutch hitters. Maz, im only 24, but you can bet ill makedamnsure you live on forever.

Must have been. I thought Maz was saying "you're right, Vince...", but it was probably "Vin".
