  • I thought it was an episode of Family Guy.

  • I laugh so awesome good on these moronic idiotmonstres junkfood skunksucker cartoons.

  • women keep touting about "antiwar" as in they are unwarlike well seems this proves opposite, they are more warlike!

  • lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol lol what an eyes!

  • lol

  • If woman ruled the world we would be in worst shape than we are NOW!

  • I RATHER HAVE WEMEN RULE THE WORLD

  • This is why there should never be a woman President. :P

  • This amkes me very sad depressed, I couldn't imagine my own sister Jenny Wakeman being turned into that. :(

  • am i pervy for thinking jaynas sort of hot?

  • i thought I heard about a DVD version, but cant find it anywhere.

  • only a super man can stop those crazy dames!

  • I wish they wouldnt of took this off Boomerang it was a really great show

  • if only it had worked hehe. superfriends is a crappy name anyway

  • Why didn't Wonder Woman just use her bracelets to deflect the laser beem?

  • @jph0917 Because as a womans, she wants female superiority?

  • How's Jana's power gonna work without Zan? There's a lesson there somewhere but I think we all missed it...

    :)

  • Saturday morning kidvid seems an inappropriate place to take the battle of the sexes.

I remember another ep where a female scientist was obsessed about fixing it so women were no longer "The weaker sex".

Not complaining. Just observing. As far as Im concerned equality of the sexes are a given. But when Superfriends tried to tackle it it came across as heavy handed and forced. But then so did ANY of their episodes dealing with issues of the times.

  • I remember the same episode, kinda like "Attack of the 50ft Woman." She also wanted to make a giant version of Batman. Saturday morning cartoons, I believe, need a method to show young girls that females are strong and smart, and power shouldn't be limited to the guys only. Many children also watched the Live-Action version of Wonder Woman during prime-time Friday nights on CBS, why not show it on Saturday mornings.

  • I agree. Im just saying the implementation in this case just didn't work

  • I LOVE THIS EPISODE

  • i dont know wh dont u go ask her?

  • do you no where ican find wonder woman super man fary tales of doom plese ilove wonder woman plese write back sowe can talk more about her super man 24a

  • lololol

  • just wondering how come wonder woman did NOT use her bracelets to deflect medulla's eye beams

  • Because that would require the use of her powers in an *intelligent* manner--something that both the shows and comic books of the time lacked.

  • hmmm... i agree... usuallym not until "super powers" season and long before "justive league", WW was "confined" to twirling her golden lasso and using her "mental telepathy", also, she couldn't fly!

  • It wasn't just Wonder Woman. All the Superfriends could have used how to use my powers in an intelligent manner courses.

  • During the "Super Powers" season, the writers made Wonder Woman more powerful, but it didn't always do her much good. In the episode "The Fear", The Scarecrow captured Wonder Woman and Robin to lure Batman into a trap. Wonder Woman told Batman, "They fused my bracelets together to make me powerless";this was based on the comic books where Wonder Woman was rendered helpless when her hands were bound by a man. Wonder Woman and Robin were rescued by Batman and the rest of the Super Powers Team.

  • thats not sexist at all lol

  • @Girardifan

Wonder Woman's weakness was actually a reference to S&M and Bondage, but the censors never figured it out. X-D

  • That might have worked against a PHYSICAL attack, but this seemed more of a MENTAL assault, so the bracelets would have been ineffective anyway.

Eh, who am I kidding? This thing is so badly written.

  • There are stories in Challenge (Legion of Doom) that are worse-much worse.

  • Absolutely there ARE worse in Challenge. But speaking as a whole Superfireinds was pretty badly written, especially when they tried to do stuff with issues and fads of the day. THe "Morals" just come across as heavy handed and forced.

The final two "Super Powers" years however were fairly decent

  • I agree that the "Super Powers" had something of a brain involved in writing them. Everything else varied wildly with most of it being bad. Every so often you had a good story but they were far and few between.

  • Cool stuff, and really good acting! Can't wait for the next one

  • Same here

  • The title of this episode is "The Mind Maidens"

  • Do you have the rest of this episode? It's a fond childhood memory, and it's great to see after many years!

  • This was the greatest show, dude.

  • I remember this clip when it came on ABC Saturday mornings when I was a kid! Especially the phrase, "We Are With You, Medula!" LOL! :D Thanks for this clip!

  • Super friends was a huge part of my childhood.

    Thanks for posting.

  • Nice video, DeathWish. I miss the Super Friends. Hey, do you have a clip of the episode where in Lex Luthor turns Superman and WonderWoman into crystal statues? I think the title of that episode is "Revenge of Doom". :-)
