  • Forget all thing.nice eyes na?

  • CRYSIS???? 0:32 ??????

  • I liked all the advices and tips but the drawings that are shown are really poor. Just observing. However, thanks for the advices.

  • umm... what about also inking with a brush and ink?

  • I think its easy to complete a comic but starting it is the hard part.

  • @supahfly55 I think starting is the easy part.

  • Check out my channel for how comic books are made.

    Source - I'm a published Author/Illustrator of comics.

  • Good video actually- explains the process well. I wish he mentioned thumb-nailing though. It's essential for planning out an entire page. :3

  • thanks for the help!

  • His eyes are sooo dreammyyyyy

  • One question. Would I draw a complete picture and then would I be able into a computerized perfect box like they do in comic books/manga?

It would be great to know this part.

  • So the artist is the one that makes the story first, not the writer?

  • @musicman243 not really theres different methods most ppl do writer first then artist draws it but like stan lee used method that he would tell the artist what he wanted then the artist would draw it den a writer would come a fill in the writing n etc..

  • Remember everyone comic books can be done alone but there's no need to put that much pressure on you. Comic Books are masterpieces when there done in teams :)

  • Mainly we Americans make comics just by writing and penciling our work not many of us ink since were not good inkers and because the way scanning is improving pictures are just inked when they are scanned. Look at Walt Disney when he made comic books of Mickey Mouse he only penciled and wrote them nothing else.

  • Thanks :)

  • man u help me a lot...

  • thanks this really helped

  • I want to fart on you face.

  • Really? you need an idea first?! well i never!

  • GREAT HELP! THX! :)

  • Dude, great advice!!! Not only are you talented with words and ink, but you're freaking HOT! lol Keep it up ;)

  • sakura ink pens there like five buck each thought

  • what ink pen is that?

  • @hahli1994 a micron pen. they are two or three bucks.

  • i have a lot of good ideas for comic books, but I'll get through like the first comic book and give up or not even!

  • to be honest i learnt more from this video on how to make a comic then most of the other videos, nice

  • i have been writing comics for 5 years. i got bored and searched this, and learned ALOT. you taught me how to save time and a shitload of paper. :D

  • thanks! that was really helpful :)

  • This guy hardly blinks o_o lol. Really helpful video!

  • ure awesome..

    thats enough from me.

  • He combined the words 'gigantic' and 'enormous' to form the word 'ginormous'. That's a new one at 2:57...haha. If you listen to this guy too much, you'll end up producing generic work like he does. Look, go and find reprints of all the great comics from the last 100 years, and read as many as you can. Most of the great comics were done with brushes and pen and ink, and all the new technology isn't going to help. This guy draws in terms of lines outside the figure instead of the forms within

  • Very cool bravo, me and some guys wanted to start out a visual novel and the steps you've descriped are just what we were thinking of doing, so this is like a cofirmation that we were on the spot thanks

  • 0:29-0:36 is that.... cobra ??!!!

  • Your eyes..... are like watching me ... i don't how to express the emotion, kinda scared thingy D:

  • extremely helpful, thanks man

  • asome drawing

  • thank you!

  • excellent advice thanks, on the way to my dream.

  • @bicnarok same here:)

  • @tallboywitshortpants good luck:)

  • @bicnarok me too man me too

  • are you saying you created paper!!!!!!!!!!

  • @jacobldavenport yes i know

  • Thanks

  • everyone has different drawing styles, there are comics you see in the morning paper and there are mangas and really, if he draws that way then he draws that way. it DOES NOT make him a bad artist, someone judging on their own personal style or opinion, and harshfully at that, are being... not bad persay but they aren't considering how they'de feel if someone said that about them. don't be all high and mighty. the humble artist is the better at learning, thusly, the better artist in the end.

  • @isketchanime Hey um idk if u feel like looking up art work but if u want u can check my facebook page my name is jonathan young on there incase u need it,hope u like it:D

  • great stuff but i think you should think of an idea befor you make characters just to think of a style of your character(s) then let your mind draw it :)

  • Thank u 4 the information

  • none of what this guy says has anything to do with making comics and further more he's not at all good at drawing. In all honesty I drew the way he does when I was 10. He's definitely not an expert.

  • @fishdirt Go bash someone elses vid... Like isketchanime said, if he said that to you would you be happy? I think not. Oh, and I highly doubt you could draw that way at age 10.

  • @SidBraidGriff It's more misinformation kiddo. I dislike misinformation like this getting out when kids, like yourself, are trying to go the right route. As for being a noob, I work for Marvel products and topps :) This guy doesn't even work in the industry.

  • George Bridgeman - Constructive Anatomy for the Artist

    buy it

    study it

    learn it

and become an artist who understand the human form properly, without the ability to see below the flesh your art will be less than it could be !

to merely draw what you see or dream of is not enough, to understand it is where its at !

and then sort out your perspective understanding and learn to draw quickly as this imbues more life into ones work.

Anyone who tells you other wise is full of shit :)

  • i do all the character planning in my head

  • @WoWjunkie95 helps to write it down, write a history and stuff. add pictures and stuff. really fun :3

    this really helped me alot

  • I made some comics and sold them in my highschool made like $70.00 selling each one for a dollar

  • hello mr shrute, nice video

  • Im doin the easy way.. im drawing and the other guys writing haha..

  • I made like some kinda comics which I can't fairly call comics just yet I made like over 20 comics in total....or more I didn't count them...

  • i tryed that and it works great! :?)

  • how can i draw the the characters really fast so it wont take me a day t finish 1 page.

  • anguswuu you are like me. i start real good comics, but they end up sitting on my desk or on the floor. so flippin hard to finish one.

  • @hammy0137 I know I never finish

  • thanks to this video my comic will be out next month

  • I'd like to see it when its done

  • I can't tell you the name cause you might copy but soon if i ever figure it out im gonna put copyright on it btw u kinda may help me make it!

  • good idea lol

  • And who might this fella be?

  • now thats proffesional advice, we all appreciate it. thanks

  • see, i start comics but then i never finish them :P i get a new idea so i do a comic on that but then i get a better diffrent idea so i scrap the origional comic and do another comic..it really frustrates me that i never finish them :P

  • the point of comic making is making your story better. im making a comic and planning to making it so it doesnt frustates me. we should combine powers and publish our comics lol

  • me too. I get all these cool ideas that I don't have nearly enough time to create, they would be so freaking cool, but I'm in highscool, so I don't have time to do any of the work.
