you may need to downgrade to 1.1.1. If you head over to our site we can give you a hand with that. I would however upgrade to 1.1.4 and use ziphone to jailbreak it. Check out my other tutorials for help

i followed all the instructions for downgrading my my itouch from 1.1.3 to 1.1.1 from your site.

when my itunes open up it said i had to restore it. i could not click "check for updates" it was no longer clickable. i had all my songs on there. how do i continye to jailbreak it now?

any size will do, but as for firmware it will most likely be 1.1.4. Visit the ziphone 3.0 tutorial and you will have it jailbroken in like 5 mins!!!!

Absolutely you can!!! I would recommend that you update your iTouch to 1.1.4 and then use ziphone to jailbreak it. (check out my other vid for that one)

what version were you at? If you were at 1.1.3 you need to downgrade using autodown (i have a tutorial for that). That should solve the problem. You can also visit my site, sing up and check out the tutorials. I had the same problem and this is what I did.

Hey there!!

With 1.1.4 you can get the squiggly icons, and with safari when you open multiple pages they will all load in the back ground. With 1.1.1 and 1.1.2 you can use summerboard and customize with out doing any file modification as you would with 1.1.3 and 1.1.4. Someone else here may want to provide more insight to your questions, but I am still sitting at 1.1.1 and 1.1.2.

I was also having issues with 1.1.4. I am presently going through the motions to get it sorted out. What i did was restored it to 1.1.3 - ran the autodown - restored to 1.1.1 and did the process over again. That seemed to have helped.

I just upgraded to 1.1.4. There is a bit of tweaking, but so far it has been successful. I have summerboard, customize, all the iphone apps and the squiggly icons.

I will have a video on how to jailbreak 1.1.4. Stay tuned

chances are you were at 1.1.3 or 1.1.4 when you downgraded. You need to follow downgrade instructions. Check out my other videos and they will show you to do this.

k well thats all good.. but i already downloaded the firmware 1.1.1 and saved it to my desktop.. but every time i press shirt+restore, and then choose the 1.1.1 it says "unknown error" and jsut stops the proccess. how do i fix it?

what version is your itouch? If you're version is 1.1.3 downgrade. I have instructions for that also. If you are 1.1.3 and you shift restore 1.1.1 you will get an error

It's seems to be a known issue. If you visit my site you will see that I have an ongoing discussion regarding this. It seems that the source is fully loading. It doesnt have anything to do with my instructions, but the owner who holds that source. It is suppose to be there by default. I will update if I come across anything.
