@shadow15555555555 yes and no. i have all the BI series (ofp GOTY edition, arma, queens gambit, arma2, operation arrowhead, BAF and soon i'll have the new DLC) arma2 is more refined, arma 1 is more like an updated OFP. arma2 is more intense. especially when on a server and there's a dozen people foot patrolling.

ArmA is WAY harder than you think. If you usually play games like Battlefield and Modern Warfare, this game is NOT for you! Even veteran simmers have trouble with this game. This isn't a game where you can go lone wolf and kill an entire platoon by yourself. Seriously, it's a huge challenge to even take on just 1 enemy squad of 8 soldiers, even if you have the element of surprise. I've ambused enemies from 500 meters away and still got shot because the enemies are so realistic. This isn't rambo!

@mihailofsx Did you get "wind, air, humidity, pressure, and coriolis effect" from Call of Duty 4? Ever since that game came out, people have been saying that A LOT! Just so you know, it takes weeks of studying to know how to counteract those variables. And zeroing your scope to those effects takes hours of studying AND training. The coriolis effect really doesn't even matter unless you're shooting from 50 kilometers pretty much. Any distance where the roundness of the earth makes a difference.

@MapleSephiroth - Well, to be honest, I played COD4 a lot, but that's not the place where I fist heard about the variables that influence the bullet's flightpath. I know that the wind tends to push the bullet of the target, the air pressure and humidity influence the velocity. Finally, the rotation of the earth, or the coriolis effect sure does matter when you shoot beyond 1.5 km (almost a mile), either towards North or South, especially if you are located near the equator.

@TaZ101SAGA Not to step on anybodys toes but the vertical and horizontal dots are Mil Dots wich is 3.468 MOA @ 100 yds. MOA or minutes of angle are a measurement system based on the radius of a circle is 1.047 inches at 100 yds.

BDC or bullet drop compensator is not used in this scope. BDC are normally a proprietary reticle for inst. the Leupold Mark IV is based primarily on a 168 grain .308 bullet It is completely useless beyond about 500 yds then u have to resort to the tried and true math.
