How awesome...I so remember this...and they used the old ABC soaps theme of Love in the Afternoon and nodded to two ABC soaps *All My Children and Edge of Night), one NBC soap (Another WOrld), and one CBS soap (Love of Life.

I was one of those kids who watched the PBS shows then tuned in to the soaps so this is koo.

i should've known they were parodizing love of life, only because 1 clip on this site, a vlip of the bonus round from the 1975 cbs game show now you see it, they have the closing credits, and the announcer (Johnny Olson) says "stay tuned 4 "love of life" next over most of these cbs stations"

Only THREE stars?! This is great! Plus we get to get to hear what Jon Stone sounds like. You're right, MacLeaper, some kids would probably think it's serious by the tone of characters (I probably would have), but now it's very funny to me! Bruno has a nice Richard Hunt-Jersey accent, but who's doing the other kids? Karen Prell of Fraggle Rock fame was only on one season, but Martha might be her.
