  • you are so open-minded lol

  • I am not sure but in Europe, "they" throw bananas at Black footballers.

Granted football hooligans are idiotic twats but still it sucks.

There are Europeans who are extremely friendly and open but there is a minority who are not so much.

My best friend when i was a kid was German, I am like 70% Asian but anyways. Dude was racist at first lol we beat the shit out of each other and later became best buddies until i was 16, he moved away.

    Germans are bad asses thought

  • Well said.

  • :)))

  • curiousity is definitely different from impoliteness..

  • These asian people deserve it .... it goes alot in china , alottttttttttttttttt. They know only two countries . If your white your american and your basically safe and if your black you has to be AFRICAN and rest of the other race - are XINJIAN REN (xinjiang people) the north west part of china which is also a part of china but they are the people treated worse in china . Because if you do not fit in white or black people's category - your XINJIANG REN - let them face what they face outsiders .

  • love how open you are and sensitive to different perspectives. did you get that from your travels and exposure to different cultures broadening your perspectives on different things? or were you always this understanding and awesome :D

  • @ForeverJpopGirls What the hell's your problem? Stop denigrating people and work on yourself. Nobody believes that hate-speak anyway -- people are wise to trolls and YouTube losers.

  • She seems like a lesbian. But that is cool..

  • Korea is the worst place to live in, bad country

  • I think your english progressed

  • No one looks at you(if you're an Asian) as if you're a monkey in big North American cities like New York or Chicago, as there are already tons of Asian people, while still some whites look at you as if you're a monkey, if you go to remoted rural areas in America, as Asians are hard to find there. It's no wonder if Koreans look at you as if you're a monkey, as there was almost no other race just 10 years ago.

  • Owl City! :D haha I'm a fan. I think you made simple, but important points that people often forget. And you should try Shin Ramen Black. You might like it :D

  • in korea,if u came from asia pacific country, likes malaysia, indonesia, thailand, and philipines, u can see how racist they are...they just respect foreigner who came from west of earth ,in other word, white peoples...if u are american, planning to stay in korea, don't worry,u will be happy and comfortable here.

  • @armyrule0111 In general, Koreans respect the haves. Black or white, if they know you're from America, they'll respect you. Even if you're a white, and they know if you're from Russia, they'll not respect you. For the same reason, they respect Japanese, and do not respect Chinese. Even the same things go among Korean themselves. The reason why people from Southeast Asia aren't respected as much as the people from wealthy countries, is that they believe Southeast Asians are poorer.

  • @armyrule0111 Korea is a fairy wealthy country now but it's one of the poorest in the world several decades ago. Even though they are successful in making their country richer, the development of their metality failed to keep the pace at which their economy has progressed. It must need more time, maybe couple of generations or more, for them to fill the gap.

  • @armyrule0111 About racism. I believe it's a kind of human instinct. Can you tell for sure that there's no racism in your native land? Not long ago, just back in 1960s, black people were treated like subhumans in America. Indian people were not allowed to use the paved sidewalk in South America. It has changed gradually by education and, more importantly, by generation change.

  • @armyrule0111 One more thing. Back in 1970s to 1980s, when the Philippines was richer than Korea, many Korean workers were there to make money, just as many people from the Philippines now work in Korea. At that time, the Korean workers were not respected and discriminated by Filipinos. Ironically many Filipino now claim Koreans are racists. What about an Indian man who claimed in the TV Koreans're racists while discriminations against minority prevailing in India. It's a human nature.

  • @chibasportshito thats maybe one explaination but not a justification. The ability to overcome these aspects makes us human doesnt it? There is racism everywhere and everywhere it is bad! There are no excuses. Because in the end we come from different nations and maybe have different skincolors but we are all human. And noone is it less or more. Everyone should accept that and who doesnt for me is the one who looses worth

  • @OurWayToWonderland Yes, we're all human, developed from the same people out of Africa long long time ago. At the same time we're all different, just as different dogs have different physical/intelligent/behavoral traits. I know there's an English biologst who discovered DNAs who explicitly said black people have lower intellectual aptitude on average. Some say it's just a fact, and some say it's a racism.

  • @OurWayToWonderland What is the racism in your definition? Whenever I meet whites people(mostly kids or remote rural people) who look at me as if I'm a monkey, I feel racism(in my term) is a kind of human instinct. As I look significantly different from them, they're cautious of me, maybe interpreting if I'm harmful or not. Such an instinct can only be tamed by education, I guess.

  • @OurWayToWonderland In the US, there's a term of 'bamboo glass' which means Asians are good at school but they hardly advance to high rankers in the companies. In the US companies, the exsiting people are mostly whites, and they prefer whites coming up, as whites feel easier when they work with whites. It's a definitely racism, and I think it's so natural. Do you believe this should be changed?

  • @OurWayToWonderland In Korea, the same thing happens, a company like Samsung prefer using people from certain provinces, and some other companies do too. That kind of 'bamboo glass' also happen in Korea. Races or native places, all are differences. The same logic, and we call the first one racism, not the latter one. I guess humans are reluctant to embrace any difference, no matter what it's racism or any other difference.

  • @chibasportshito What are you writing a novel? Who gives a fuck? What a waste of time talking about some bullshit.

  • @armyrule0111 it's true. koreans are more racist to other asians than they are to whites. but honestly by looking at history why not? grudges against nations who've invaded their land and those who have been affected by them still alive voicing out about it can be a factor sensitive issues n with today's illegal immigrant control /crime issues w/ asian pacifics, it's inevitable. it's easier for them to be more welcoming to those who haven't had issues with than with those who they do.

  • @tanita1213 clearly not saying it's a excuse. but just stating factors that affects their racism. but i will say koreans also do have more openness to white ppl for other reasons like they are interested, while to other asian countries they have no interest whatsoever. but u can't force that onto them either.

  • Great video! I have the same thinking =)

  • .... i dont know why im watching these vids , but your uglier in this one

  • Good four you!!! Be proud of your culture and teach those ignorant people!!!

  • You are absolutely right when you said 'being rude or polite is often a matter of difference in culture.' You are very insightful and observant. I feel sorry for you moving into a small closet-like room after living in a 4-star hotel in Korea and paying $2 for a pack of ramen. Well, you are going through education. Good luck with your schooling.

  • 2 dollars a pack?! pfffft you can get a pack of 20 for like 5$ >.>

  • okay, now I am sooooooo curious. What did they say at the subway station? I don't think you would do anything to warrant anyone stranger talking bad about you. If you don't want to put it in the comments, send me a message... I will hold you personally responsible if I die of curiosity...just kidding, but that's how much I want to know. ^^

  • shes so pretty. asian guys must love her

  • As a korean who lives in America, I agree with you all the way!

Just like what you said, I tried to understand their meaning of politeness and guess what? Every single people have different opinions about being polite. It's not about Germany, Korea, or any other country. It's about who they are and what they think.

I really enjoy your video and you make me smile :) thank you for loving my culture.
