Michael Jackson had lupus. Lupus is an autoimmune disease. Vitiligo is also an autoimmune disease. Autoimmune diseases like lupus causes the body to attack it's own tissues and organs. Vitiligo is an Autoimmune disease that attacks the pigment cells causing the loss of color. People who have lupus often also develop vitiligo, so I definitely believe Michael had vitiligo if he had lupus.

In my opinion, I think that there were a lot of physical and emotional things that went on in Michael's life that truely had an effect on his life. In one interview I heard, he mentioned that he had "been to hell and back." Through all of Michael's pain, sorrow, loneliness and condemnation he always managed to smile and bring love, peace and joy to the world. I will always be inspired by MJ. Forever, he will remain in my heart.

I couldn't find the video on YouTube with Quincy Jones talking about MJ that I saw about 3 1/2 months ago. Someone must have removed it. I could only find a shortened version entitled "Quincy Jones Candid on Jackson" here on YouTube. In July of 2009, Quincy did a magazine interview with "Details Magazine", dissing MJ. You can read parts of the interview on the internet. Search "Quincy Jones interview with Details magazine in July 2009 on MJ". Some friend he was.

I think that is why Michael was so sensitive about the issue because he tried so hard to cover it up as it happened. As an entertainer of his caliber the blotching would have made him look freakish...So it was just easier for him to even out his skin coloring altogether. The thing that bothered me most was all the plastic surgery. I think it had to do with him hating who he was because of Joseph Jackson.

I Saw the interview where Quincy made these statements about Michael. It is not hear-say information. He also said that MJ had chemical peels and mentioned that he felt that Michael didn't want to be black., just take a look at his children. At first, I didn't believe it, but it is true. Shortly after he died, he also said he was not going to go to the funeral as well.

Quincy and MJ were friends, but through the last remaining years, they had issued with each other, and Quincy had sued MJ. This might explain some of the resentment he is feeling with him for saying that.
