It been over a year since I lost a great friend. George I know you out there somewhere, I still have that video we made of your life up to when you left for Denver. I still watch it and laugh. God Bless......
Moderator: Hi, I understand everyone has an opinion about George. This is not the correct forum to dispute. The video was made to honor George! Thanks so much!
Please rest in peace George - thank you for always making the news so very much worth listening to. It is a very sad world with you gone. Thank you for all.
He was killed with a knife? Uh oh, there goes the "get rid of guns and no one gets murdered" mantra so many have been bleating like sheeples for so long.
Sad. What a nutjob that kid is. Paul Harvey gets to live to be 150 but not George? The "dies in threes" people would tell Daniel Schorr to go get a check up. He's 93? RIP GW. What a voice!
I was an advid listener to NYC 77 Radio every morning when George was on. He almost convince me to stop smoking with a new program he had tried. My prayers go out to his family, friends and all you listeners. I'm from NYC-Queens, I hope they get the bast**d that took his life. But besides that George---RIP.
George, you will be missed. I knew you once upon a time, a long time ago. I always remembered you fondly. Blessings to your mom, dad and sister. May the good Lord guard their eyes and ears from the media maelstorm that may try to rewrite an amazing life in a few lurid lines. What a rich, wonderful life you led.
I loved George!! He was a dear friend for almost 30 years, I am both sad and angry and I want justice done for him. He deserves this and I will miss him more than anyone will ever know
I loved his voice .. i keep listening to Wabc radio
for any thing dedicated to him. all i keep hearing is there usual crap.. Curtis played this montage lastnight on air. good job curtis... I for one was an avid listner to the curtis and Kuby show (was Best show in NY )george made the show complete . since then i have switched to
Serius and catch curtis in the evenings.. again good job curtis
I'll remember him as Jordy,it's how I always knew him. I don't think I'd seen Jordy/George since I was in my young teens...he must have been in his early 30s. Before that, one of my earliest memories involve playing with him in (I think...) his parents basement? Why a late teenager had agreed to humor a toddler like me is still beyond me, but I was glad he did.
oh you put in noodles. that dog was his secret weapon in getting the scoop. he's bring the dog out, get people to pet him, loosen up and before you kow it he was getting the inside scoop on the neighborhood.
i grew up listening to him. what a sweet guy. his attack was brutal. whoever stabbed him had to get up in his face to inflict those wounds. this was personal. who could a gentle newsman like george have enraged like that? it's stunning

Almost the same exact thing happened to gay radio broadcaster Mike Webb. What is it about the lifestyle that so often leads to such tragedy?

I hate to say it, but him looking for people on the internet is what killed him. You always take a HUGE risk when you look around on the internet.

George Weber was a disgusting pedophile who should've been in prison for having sex with under aged boys.
The boy who killed him should get a medal and help, not prison.
GOOD RIDDANCE!
