  • Eh...

  • I asked for a kalimba for Christmas because I saw it played in this video. And I got it! :D

  • Architecture in Helsinki...who the fuck are they? Fuck knows, but this rocks my silly little mind and is making my work day over the Christmas period much easier!

  • @paddyhayes82 they're a band from melbourne, australia :) 'we dies, they remixed' is my favourite album of theirs. definitely worth checking out.

  • thumb drum

  • what's the instrument which is played first?

  • @GuteKraftProductions Kalimba, Mbira or Thumb Piano is it called

  • Sooo great

btw what kind of instrument was that at the beginning?

  • Oh my god, that´s wonderful!

  • I love when at least a bunch of people unite together and experience true love on the same vibe and are God for a moment.

  • É tipo a bandinha no coreto de qdo ero piccola, mas parece tbm o Olodum...sei lá...

Será q esses caras vieram passar o carnaval em Salvador e beberam too much capeta?

  • fuck, that was heart warming.

  • This is AMAZING!

  • The little kid at 3:45 cant take it :)

  • Best band in Australia, ever.

  • This is how music and performance should be: a free community event in the streets for everyone to take part in and enjoy.

  • Brilliant.

  • damn she has a sexy back.

  • Brilliant!

  • what instrument is playing at the beginning of the video?

  • @P4UL17 It's called a Kalimba.

  • Comment removed

  • holy shit better than the album

  • Dr Dog is the best version easy -

sorry listening to the other version is like sticking pencils through my ear,

The Girl On the video is cool though

  • @TunesandTones1 I read this and I was like "Oh hey Dr Dog covered it.?" So I went and listened to it. .... I agree with you.

  • boom...booom...boom..boom-PANG-boom

  • what's he playing at the beginning?

  • It's a kalimba.

  • thanks, i figured that out after i asked. haha.

  • although i did enjoy this performance, i don't really like the way she sings. you guys should listen to the cover of this song by Dr. Dog, it's really good!

    great performance though

  • Imusik, Remember this is a performance/percussion song, in the middle of the street, with ad-hoc performers. She's not a chanteuse, just a lovely person doling out love to the beautiful vision of the Architecture project. A lot of what you don't like is the echo and distance of the sound from the source because of the open space.

  • this is just... amazing. it's so very joyous.

  • the cure - close to me anybody?

  • blue sword! ohh yeah!!

  • makes me resent sitting in a cubicle pushin 40+ a week.

  • absolutely incredible, this is brilliant.

  • 0:21 I have the exact same pair of black sandals =)

  • Kalimba ftw

  • haha awesome, where bouts are they? they used to play at my local bar heaps!

  • they're in paris

  • this is absolutely fucking amazing

  • It doesn't get any more real than this.

  • TROP MALADE

  • this is amaaaaaaaaaaaaazing!!!

  • what is that instrument at 0:18? :)

    plzzz!

  • Kalimba, otherwise known as a thumb piano.

  • yeh that things so sick!

  • what the fuck is "plzzz!"

counting the apostraphe its the same amount of letters as "please"

... so why even abreviate it if you are using the same amount of letters!?

    and another thing

"please" is cordial. why abreviate a word meant to show your indebtedness?

the internet is glorious for musical performances like this one.

and terrible for idiots like me and you to interact. and make"comments" damn us all to hell.

  • Was there a reason for your actions because I wrote "plzzz" instead of "please"? I'm sorry that I didn't want to type the whole word down. After all this is the internet and I am being watched by everyone. Including you. And obviously the internet and it's users are judging me based on my typing skills and how well my grammar is.

Oh and by the way, I didn't use an "apostraphe". (Which you misspelled. It's spelled a-p-o-s-t-r-o-p-h-e.) It's called an exclamation point.

  • yeah man cmon that was kind of unnecessary how could people that listen to bands that might just imply pacifism, be so ... idk, like somethings shoved up your ass and your blaming the world for it.

  • prick

  • That is unbelievably hypocritical. All you're achieving by this, is making yourself look like an uneducated moron that has nothing better to do than harass people who are merely trying to enjoy said "glorious musical performances".

Oh and for the record, if you want to nit pick, I do believe that you're trying to use the word "ineptness" or "incompetence" rather than saying that Jaredsayshell is "in debt".

    Nice going.

  • Wow, a know-it-all how original.

  • i would give LaBlogotheque ten stars out of 5 if i could.

  • word

  • the drums and the chorus gives me chills

  • It's a thumb piano, an African instrument (also known as likembe, mbira, and a dozen other names according to Wikipedia).

  • I saw them when they were touring together. Let's not start a war, but I thought Dr. Dog gave a better show. :)

  • lol wow this is crazy..if anyone even tried that in my town (or in connecticut) they would've been told to get the hell out. but it was a great show

  • her shirt was practically falling off...
