I have an original Rubik's cube from the 1980s and it still has a perfectly intact set of original stickers (despite a lot of miles over the years). Only reason stickers don't last now is they're designed to fail, peel, tear and chip to create a market for replacements. I hate the disposable world.

@SubWalkthrough Try lubing it by poppin a piece out with a screwdriver and then spraying silicone spray inside, or you can sand down the sides of the edges a little bit, hope this helps it worked for me

I use nail polish. It gives more control over coverage. On the cubes I've done it on, it's actually made the colors on the stickers more vivid.

@four8split no it wouldn't because the spray is actually a clear coating that covers both the stickers and the area of plastic that surrounds them. So it essentially provides a clear cover over that entire area, and makes it much harder for the stickers to be peeled up during normal use.
