the word shahada means "witness" - All muslims witness/testify that "There is no god by Allah (The God), and Muhammad (PBUH) is his messenger".... When someone enters Islam he/she say the shahada or bare witness/testify to this message.

Doesn't Estes realize that anyone who was once a Christian is going to hell forever being that to be a Christian is to believe the Injil that says Jesus is Allah's son, and, thus, is "partnering with Allah", which, according to the Quran, is an unforgivable sin?

@MegaBoxer77 The word "Disbelievers" mentioned at the end of the verse is the English translation for the Arabic word used to describe the most sinful act, which is worshipping other Gods with the Only One God. and the explanation of that verse means those who are disbelievers since they are alive they also still have a chance for forgiveness if they come back to God. but if those disbelievers die before coming back to salvation path, then forgiveness is over. The Quranic verses do not go individually one by one, each verse clarifies a previous one, or adds more info to it. The punishment of disbelievers is Hell. But Those who know and don't want to come to god, they take the consequences of punishment. Because the Quran was not revealed as one unit, it was revealed during many years. and the verses didn't come in order, the Arch Angel Gabriel PBUH always told Mohamed PBUH where to put the verses after each revelation. you must understand this things before you miss interpret the Quran.

It's maybe like saying checking up in Encyclopedia Biblica for explanations of the Bible. peace.

you misquoted me! I said Jesus is the Light of the world. I never said what you satated. Can you prove from history and textual evidence that "we" changed the words of Jesus. Yes Jesus did eat, sleep and other human things. But that just shows a genuine Incarnation. He is Fully Man and Fully God. He is the Second Person of the Trinity. He is not the Father. He is the Son. So what you posted does nothing to the position held by Christians. In fact you futhuer prove our position. But Jesus is your only hope for slavation..

Mate, The books we see in the bible was chosen in the vatican, Rome. You can't say if a book is true or not, but you can say if it fits in the picture, that the church is/was creating. and when jesus is dying, he says two different things according to which book you read!

this guy clearly does not understand the Christian faith and the Truth of Jesus Christ. It was his "personal" testimony! Though it can be used to pursade people but just becuase he does not understand something does not make it truth or false. I am a former muslim. NOW! A follower of the Risen Lord JJesus Christ who paid the price for my sin and yours. Trust in Him for salvation.

Yusuf Estes was really confused of Bible "version". Qur'an has also English, French, German, Arabic, Chinese, Filipino and other translation versions though its original version was written in Arabic. And so with the Bible. Salvation is not exclusive for the Jews alone. The Gospel must reach to the ends of the earth - that is the reason why we have many translation versions for the Bible.

And I am sorry if he is confused about "versions" of the bible. But it is really rather simple. As language changes, one must translate in order to understand. Am I to read Sun Tzu only in ancient chinese? They are not "versions" but mere translations. He creates a straw man bible and then compares it with a false Koran. Can I not purchase a Koran translated into English??? He loses any credibility he might have had by doing such.
