Eggs are clear and about 1mm in size. They are dispersed into the water column so if you have the pumps running when it happens they will be sucked into your filtration and or blown around. chances are if they are rising together they are probably spawning.
I was on my way to bed, so maybe I didn't get the actual spawning - I didn't think the eggs could be seen easily ?
At least I could see a decrease in the size of the belly of the female the next day so I'm pretty sure they did spawn but they were still going strong when I went to bed ;)

cant c anyone spawning. they are just happy and fooling around mine do that every day
