  • Well I loved that very much you did a fine job Different from what I have heard but then if you make it better why not. 100%

    Ron in Canada

  • I know this is not traditional Irish, but when played on the theatre organ, it sure sounds like it. It also sounds like an old carousel tune or film score. Unfortunately, the movie is in Mono, presumably recorded with a laptop microphone. A Stereo movie would have brought the listener the full majesty of the "king of instruments."

  • his real names harry lillis, lol.

  • this songs been in my family for some time now. bing crosby is a part of my family.

  • Oh the cockerel crows, the whistle blows, and now we're in the game

It's up to you, the Lilywhites, to live up to your name

Oh there's other teams from other towns and some are great and small

The famous Tottenham Hotspur are the greatest of them all

  • Awsome

  • McCravat, I seen Danny Blanchflower lead the Spurs out to this old rouser, that is when the Spurs were a team.

  • Never been to Spurs but was lucky to see that great team of the 60s play with a line up of wonderful players like..Greaves,Gilzean,Danny Blanchflower,Big dave Mackay and bill brown in goal...ABSOLUTE CLASS

While many now consider Spurs to be with jewish links this fine tune was something I remember many spurs fans telling me and I have seen footage of the running out to it on F/Ball focus

    Regards

  • Not traditional Irish, a song made famous by Bing Crosby and was the signature tune of English football team Tottenham Hotspur.

  • It was indeed in the 50s and 60s I read that the Spurs ran out to it.

  • is it sad that i know the words to this song

-and henessy tenessey tootles the flute and the music is such a grand

  • It's ONLY sad if you are sober..
