He is a living legend! Greatest actor of all time. I wish he was born in the US. His talent would have been appreciated more there. Unfortunately, bollywood does not recognize true talent. The spotlight should be on HIM rather than those silly publicity seeking badshahs who rule bollywood.

Gandhi the movie was made in 1982 when it was still heretical for a non-American or non_British actor to win the Oscar. Even now, 70% of the world's movies are put into one single award at the Oscars; Best foreign Language film. Lets be frank and call the Oscars an award for English cinema in with some European cinema added from time to time.I love Al-Jazeera for its constant presentation of the other face of the coin.
