r u ppl really that dense? if tekken lags for u then ur other games lag also, its ur connection, for gaming u need the best and special set ups, ppl just notice lag in fighting games more so than others cuz of the gameplay mechanics, its advanved and requires a lot of precise commands timing, execution, its less noticeable in shooting and other games cuz the game engine is more basic and ur just spamming high powered pieces of led everywhere,and the gameplay is a lot more basic

It's called db or parry low when it comes to low hit spammers. Beating spammers or cheap ppl are easy since you can read their moves on the 1st rounds and then take advantage of the predictability and punish with juggles or stun moves.

anyone got any tips i have wired connection and almost every game i play the syncing letters come up and stay for like 5 to 10 secs then i disconnect happens to others that play me to any reason why? i need help

@ultimawolf2 Hmm...it two people take a very long time to sync, then the connection between the two people is most likely very bad (1 and 2 ratings). From my experience so far playing this game and others, Tekken 6 seems to have really bad online management as compared to other games like Uncharted 2 for me. I know that when I play Uncharted 2, others in my house can be watch videos on youtube and whatnot without even lagging my own gameplay. Keep the connection free of use is all I can say.

Actually why are you even picking red color connection, isn't it obvious that you wont get any good connection at all, or did you simply want to show the consequences if we use the red/orange color connection?

@5600113 This was before the time people could even accept or reject matches based on connection status. Players don't know if the connection will even be good until after they start fighting.

@5600113 Yeah...the patch that allowed people to accept and reject matches more or less improved the play environment, but then....there are still people that may use dirty lag techniques by messing with their own Internet even when the servers think it is a good connection. Those types of players are rare to see though.

Look at Tekken 6 online and see how broke it is. People who cannot perform a juggle combo, button mashers, or spammers are ranked above Rogues or a lot higher. You could not have said it any better and I 100 percent agree with you. Although I quit playing Online, I still cannot stand people who think button mashing or spamming is a skill. Btw, nice Asuka Combos and keep it up!

Online is laggy... people who spam with Christie, Asuka or Lili are pathetic. LILI is the number 1 choice for noobs... over 50% of people i have versed online are lili.

You're playing a 3D game on a 2D platform.

Lots of the moves you get hit by could have been side stepped.

Your opponents played at pretty much the same level as you. Had a favorite set of moves to spam. No side stepping what so ever. LOL at losing to that Devil Jin though. He/She got an easy win off of you.

But just keep practicing, learn how to bait opponents into whiffing a move so you can launch etc. for damage.

Overall...

You should be frustrated at yourself... not opponents or lag

some ppl are using some kinda of a lagger for their advantage...... i fought a lot of them Lagging game with 5 or green connection while most green connection out there doesn't lag at all.... besides the fact that one of this suckers use it so he won't miss on his aerial combo made it obvious when he lauches me to the air lags comes after that or either when i caught him up in the air...... man i respect good players but others just slow in the head to react to a fast-paced game like tekken<('<)

OMG I love to play Tekken more than any other game online, but why does it have such a horrible lag???

I have no problems with any other game. Only Tekken is constantly lagging or kicking me out... :(

Same here... When I play Madden 10, NCAA 10, or MW2, it never kicks me out. But when I play Tekken, it disconnects me at least twice a day. Plus the spammers... Tekken Online is no more for me.

There's one guy on XBL that put me on Priority because I lagged in a ranking match. So he was eddy, I'm king. I'm lagging, hes not. And i set him to Avoid but he still matches me every time. So fucking annoying. And all because he knows he can get a cheap lag-win. Spanish cunt.

I see a 440 win, 120 loss Law with five green bar and it lags horrible for me and all Law does is d/b+4,4 then I know I got a lagger but meh, still sucks and I still pwn him anyway and he either disconnects or insults me.

i have played online but the lag is so bad and its no secret by the way its like reading a comic strip then fighting and i have a connect link to the internet dam plus people just suck i feel like im playing a 3 year old whos dad let him play to shut him up trust me and just play offline mode on ultrahard you will thank yourself in the long run but if you want those coveted online trophys go for it .

I like to fuck around the first round but then i serious up. All and all i try to have fun But major thing to improve your skill is learn to throw more, not spam throws but punish ppl you do cheeky tactics, just like your countering.

It is the netcode not you CeruleanNight. Don't feel bad. Only cheating dickheads praise this trashy netcode. The whole game is base on SC mode and the laggy online. So I quit and when to a real fight game, Street Fighter. Street fighter IV has it problems too but not a bad as Tekken 6.

This video partly shows just how terrible the majority of the Tekken 6 online community is. Lag abusers with red ping spamming unpredictable low hits, and moves that are difficult to get out of. From now I'm going to save the replays of matches I get with spammers and post them here on Youtube.

They always find one thing that works against you and they abuse it (with me it's usually unpredictable low hits and grapples, I can't break them let alone with the lag)

Funny how all red connections spam. Allmost no spammers now that people can select not to play peoples with bad connection. Spamming dosent work very good with green/blue connection.

Thank goodness for the red connection predicament fix. Now those connected combos are more executable, and I feel better that when I lose, it's not so much due to delayed inputs, such as when guarding and parrying.

All I can say is Spam Jugglers.... I'm gonna, one day, write a book about HOW I hate spam Jugglers. Juggles is like shooting an unarmed person. Also Asuka is my favorite mainly because of Jun. To get out of spammers. Press X (ps3). It's quick, or u can reverse it. Also those how spam low X+O (ps3) Gets them every time. A nice overhead attack. Oh and I'm on 360. - Ron the Hybrid -. You are so absolutely right! But sometimes even a normal player like me has to use these "poor" strategies to win the battle, as a reaction to those people. They give one no chance to stand up and do a proper combo, its really frustrating! But its nice to see that there are players like you who are good sports and not just morons

Right...it's terrible to have to resort to...lesser than graceful tactics ourselves to win. It's nice seeing good sports indeed. Bad comments and trash talking aren't necessary at all. All we can do really is hope for a decent match. If we lose, then at least we know that we lost knowing that we are the more refined and skilled, right? Hehe. =)
