Hello Sara,Very great teaching, very soft pleasant voice to learn from u should be a teacher,im a musician/photographer/videographer & PC Repair man.Im learning photoshop and started with paintshop pro,so please put more tuturials out if you can.
Hey, when I try to use Clonestamp it just says "Could not use clonestamp because the area to clone has not been defined (click to define a source point). And all iv'e done is the same as you... HELP!
@lace1123 Get the full Adobe Photoshop ;) Unfortunately, with the cheaper price attached to Photoshop Elements comes limited things that can be done in the program.
@InvisibleVoices16 I have never used GIMP before. However, if something like this can be done with GIMP, I'm sure there's a YouTube video about it somewhere ;)
cute voice :). but your video lacks some information. the settings are different for 8bit and 16 bit images. although it is important to set the tools to sample: current layer.
@barehandedbearhunter I'll have to give my tablet another try one of these days. I just hate the feeling of holding a pen, and I HATE drawing! It's so much easier/more comfortable to just use my fingertips!
@sarakiesling i mean you cant hate drawing! we have photographs because of paintings/ drawings i mean not everyone is good at it, but it makes selections so much easier!!! and patch tool! ahhh so much less energy
you are good at this, but your explaining it as like everyone knows where everything is, and how to do it... you're too fast... isn't this supposed to teach people, not confuse? Otherwise amazing work, just slow down a bit. :)
I seriously question the sanity of the individual who disliked this. This technique is so much better than what I was doing before! Adios, healing tool, haha.
Is this photo shop cs5 or element. I tried in element 6 couldn't get the texture layer. It would be helpful if you add the software version used in the description. Kudos! It's a well done video tutorial.
@mfgonzalezz It definitely depends on the type of photos! Since this was a headshot, the face is obviously more detailed than, say, a full body shot. I also shoot primarily natural light, and typically at f/1.4-2.0, which minimizes the amount of detail overall. Whereas, shooting with strobes at f/16...you'll be seeing every single line, pore, and blemish! I can spend anywhere between two minutes and a couple hours on a skin retouching on a single photo!
this is great work! get a 50 dollar bamboo pen pad.. your editing will be so much easier and less cramping in the hands. im so glad i got mine. AMAZING WORK OTHERWISE!!!
@Ksjunn2o9b I've actually had a Bamboo tablet for a couple years but I hate the feeling of holding a pen or pencil (I hate drawing & writing, even signing my name), so that's why I stick to my trackpad ;)
this def beats the pause-n-play method i was having to do on the casey carlson speed edit! thanks, and you have a very nice voice, was happy to hear it :)
