The music video is about this....The little boy drew a mine, because his brother died in it. The teacher was the brother's gf from the past and judging by the age difference...she never knew her dead bf had a younger brother.

She moved away from the pain of her bf's death and came back as a teacher and when she went to the boys house...she then realized that it's her ex bf's little brother and the house that use to once be a nice house.

i doubt its that complicated as riencarntion, most likelythe kid used to live with his older brother who worked in a mine shaft and when his brother would come home and stuff he probably talked bout how great the girl is, then when his brother died he was probably traumatized or something. then when the girl came bak he probably recognized her from the pictures his brother braought or something and the kid knew how much the girl meant to the brother.
