hey what is this plant called i have the exact same one, the guy in the fish shop said it was HC but i dont believe it because it grows quite high ? hiow did you manage to make it grow along the whole of the tank and make it grow so thick ? how long did it take ? thanks :)
@TheROLO27 it's not HC its HM micranthemum, I planted like 500 stems or so about 1-2 inch tall, in groups of 3-5 all long the bottom it took a few hrs to plant, they were all cutings from another tank, a cutting of this plant will root out in like a day when you put it in substrate and you have good water and co2

@monkynutzuk hairgrass=better looking but harder ,much harder to keep and takes a while to cover the bottom. CUBA for beginners and will grow quicker, but it isnt as nice looking, its somewhat like moss...
He used a planting substrate... he has really good lighting... and he's for sure using CO2. He might even be using a UV filter to keep the water SUPER clear! Check out ADA (also known as Aquarium Design Amano) to see what planted tanks are capable of. The God of planted tanks is Amano Takashi.
Hey! Awesome setup and great vid! I'd like to extend a welcome to Aquariaspot, com where we could use your video for all those that come through and are looking to learn from professionals like you. Say hello to me when you come through! My username is core212...
Nice! But dont you find your glosso thinning out and shooting upwards since it seem to be fighting for light with the hemianthus? I dunno cant really tell from the vid if you mixed them or not.
the ground plant is pearl weed. and the guy that made this spent a total of 80 dollars for everything. i know he designed and planted my tank, which should be revealed soon. Considering it puts this one to shame haha. the man is a genius, every tank he makes puts the previous in the dust. just wait and see where green aquarium takes us all.
By far, some of the nicest tanks i've ever seen come from this company. Absolutely beautiful. it's nice to see people who understand composition in their tanks versus just planting it and calling it good. kudos my man.
Hello, what the flora (plants) that aquarium?

what do u need to look after plants all mine keep dying your tank looks great plz respond
bigfish324 2 years ago
those plants need like 3-4 watts of lighting per gallon, so in a 20 75 watts or so. You also need a C02 system and fertilizer, costs alot
fendpr 2 years ago
the tank is 29 gallons it has 215 watts of 6700k and 10-20000k light. this uses a diy co2 system, doesnt cost much
